The app allowed easy access. I purchased the after hours entry, which was critical, as I was just passing through town and needed to store a car. Great place. I've used in the past as well. My best experience with a storage facility!

Good and easy reservation process

Customer service seems to be a bit lacking. We rented a small unit on the second floor and were emailed the code to get into the facility but nothing else. Luckily, to save time, we had purchased one of their locks as it turned out only their lock would fit in our little unit. But, the gentleman at the front desk didnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t know this. And we didnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t know that the proper lock was already sitting in our unit for us. Not a biggie. But, we were given no instructions on how to access the unit itself and wandered around the facility for a while until we finally bumbled on to what we had to do. My impatient husband was not happy.

I was assisted by Tom at Public Storage in Chanhassen. Tom was very, very helpful and considerate. I had (and still have) a complicated situation as far as time frames, the potential sale of a cabin and a date for needing a storage unit. Tom worked with me to explore several options to address and (hopefully) resolve my predicament. It is due to Tom that I would highly recommend the Chanhassen Public Storage to others. Renting the storage locker was easy, convenient and nice staff. Liked the fact that there were security cameras and daily checks done. The only thing I was disappointed in was I was told not to bring a lock, they would furnish one....but I was charged for the lock. Overall, a well run business!

Great location. Units are clean and staff on site are knowledgeable and professional. On line paperwork access now and was so easy to rent and check out. I bought their round locks or my unit, it's not any to open and close and is heavy duty. This is my 3rd move so renting here again. I use auto-pay and life is easy!

Need a place to store household goods in anticipation of a move. Having to BUY a lock was a surprise as was forced place insurance. The 2 level pricing of internet vs at the office seems like a bit of antiquated sales process. The internet price was fine and the storage pod is great.

The staff is great and very knowledgeable. They were wonderful to work with. I'm taking 1 star off because my first unit had no lights. They were in the middle of fixing them but after a month in a half they were still broken. My unit was in the back corner so I had to bring a flash light if I wanted to see anything.
