The code did not come via text on move in day, but the next day they gave me the code in person. There are no markings for the spots in my area, maybe they will put that in next spring.

Because of the nature of the facility, all of the units are crammed in pretty good. The elevator could be bigger, but the carts available on-site were a big help.

Office staff very rude. Also, what is the point of contactless check-in if yo have to go into the office anyway to get a map to find space?

First, utilizing Spare Foot was a great way to locate a quality storage facility, close by and for a good price. Second, the local response was excellent once I booked through Spare Foot. Third, when I arrived at the facility, the staff was pleasant and helpful and sensitive to Covid-19 concerns. I had absolutely not problems parking my camper and getting all the final details settled.

In general I'm pleased with my units, and the personal at Edina Public Storage... Not happy, with the price of the unit I had for three years at Eden Prairie Public Storage which is why I left. I was promised an reduction in price, and then the area Mgr at the time reneged.

I was treated well and the units seem good for the use i need. The reason for a 3 star rating is price. Throughout the process the $1 monthly rate turned to a $25 admin fee then into an additional $20 for a lock and $11 for insurance. These things I was not happy about because it felt like a bait and switch. And i didn't like the fact that I could have brought in my own lock to avoid buying an overpriced lock from Public Storage, and was never informed about this.

I have never rented a storage unit before and needed one rather quickly. The facility is clean, secure and well lit. The staff has been great and they were able to help us in deciding how big of a unit we would need and also gave us helpful hints when filling up the unit. We have been there close to a dozen times in the last 2 weeks and have had a great experience every time.
