Storage is clean and secure. But prices seem to change all the time, and offers like first month 1/2 off only apply to the first unit you rent. I rented two but only got one offer.

This is my first time using Public Storage. I knew some people who used to use them, but I've never used them before. I did some research online and also called a few places in order to make sure that I would get the best value. Public Storage's price was less than their competitors, plus there was the first month for only a dollar for several of the options. The only bad thing was that there is no warning about the mandatory insurance and the required purchase of Public Storage's own lock. Otherwise, it's been a great experience.

There is no lighting on the 2 roads that our storage unit faces. The snow is not plowed up to 2' within the building on either side. The snow could be better cleared into and out of the main facility.

The property manager was very helpful; the process was quick. My storage unit is exactly what I wanted. The price is a little high, but it's competitive for the area. If the price was lower, I would consider keeping the unit long term, but at $130/month, that doesn't make sense.

The outdoor storage space I rented was a bit damp (surprisingly because the rest of the town was covered in snow & ice) but the manager was a fantastic and helpful person (not that that changed the damp situation at all, but at least they were nice about getting checked in).

The customer service is excellent, easy to speak to, and understands all concerns. A great deal of effort was used in the design of the security and they obviously vet their employees pretty well. In all my dealing with Public Storage, whether it be in Maryland, Woodbury or Eagan, the customer service is outstanding. The clerks know what size you'll need and help you decide. Great job.
