Public Storage - St Charles - 1539 S Old Highway 94

Rented a unit for my daughter to store her dorm furniture between semesters. Not far from Lindenwood. Unit was clean and easy to access.

Very dark inside unit itself no plug ins for a light etc. power for lights stopped working while I was there made it even harder to see inside unit

Hate they don't let u out past nine if u r in before close unless u inform them .!

Good location and clean units.

When we got to the reserved unit there was no locking mechanism on the unit , the unithad not been cleaned out, And no one ever answers the phone. I attempted to call the office at the unit 4 or 5 times over the course of 4 or 5 days and no one ever answered the phone.

I have had a number of storage units over my lifetime and I am very impressed by the cleanliness and how well maintained the unit is. The staff have been fantastic and bonus, they have a restroom by the office which has been helpful as I have a young kiddo. Units are clearly marked as well and the driveways are large enough to turn around in with minimal effort. I am beyond satisfied! 10/10, 5 out of 5 stars, and 2 thumbs up!

Stephanie was great. I got a great price, itﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s clean and I like that itﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s an inside unit. I just wish I was told ahead of time on the phone that insurance is required, not optional. When I got there I was told it was required, and would be $15 a month extra unless I brought my own insurance. Also, the lightbulb was out inside my unit, I asked for it to be replaced, and Stephanie said that she had no lightbulbs and that they may not be sent to her anytime soon by the company. I realized it wasnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t her fault, but as a company Public Storage should be able to supply lightbulbs to their property managers. I was able to add renters insurance to my auto policy, then I brought my insurance and moved in the next day. I had a very good experience after that.

Fast and easy to get in and out

The staff was beyond amazing and helpful . They were more on top of my move than I was with frequent calls and emails to make sure I had everything I needed. I won't use any other services for my storage needs... Ever.

Rented 10x10 storage unit, actual size is 10 x 8.5 That is 18 " shorter than advertised. Just not fair.

Great service ans space.

The onlything I dont like is the hidden fees about buying the lock and having to pay for insurance. Those were fees I wasn't planning on that I had to pay. It would have been nice to see that stated somewhere on the website, upfront. I also dont like how you have to get out of your car to open the gate but the lady who got me started was very thorough and explain everything to me.

I am so proud to say this is my new home for for all of my storage needs! Just the other day me and the rest of the Peppermint clan were out scowering St. Louis for a place to store all of our extra items from our recent move and we stumbled upon this wonderful place. Marie the property manager was extremely nice and helpful during the entire process. She greeted all us Peppermints and continued to be helpful through the entire process. When our time there was done we knew we found the best place and we could not wait to come back and see our new friend Marie. I have now been at this location for 3 months and I have to say there is no looking back. Every time I come in I'm again greeted by my good friend Marie and she still continues to be there for me and help me with any questions I may have. To this day picking public storage was the single greatest decision of my life!

I would have given 5* but the website said a price and didn't include the fact I had to have insurance and another small fee that I was unaware when I got the confirmation number at the end of my reservation.

Office people and facilities are great. Only issues are that they do have a hefty application fee which is odd with the price you pay monthly, and not disclosed until filing out the paperwork, and that they advertise 1 dollar move in first months rent but that only applies to 1 unit and it wont be the one you are renting.. Personally I think if the unit, or units, that qualify for the 1 dollar first months rent are not available they should take down the sings and stop advertising it. Its just a gimmick to get you in the door in most if not all cases, and there are lots of businesses that do it.

I am a college student who is new to being on my own they were very helpful in explaining everything to me.

I have rented from Public Storage, and I recommend. It's easy and with the gates and safe.

It has been a great experience for us. Going through a divorce and all the stress with it. this transition has made it much easier.

Public Storage is the only company with multiple locations to choose from within 5 miles of my home. For the last 2 years they have made it easy for me to store my classic Corvette for the winter, with no hassles at all. Thanks

Needing assistance I found Gabby. She was the most energetic friendly person to have behind the counter. Not only did she help me with all of my questions she even offered me suggestions to help me with my needs days to come. She is extemely valuable to Public Storage and I hope they know what kind of a person they have representing their company.
