Upon arriving and accessing the APP for Public Storage we were very confused because the APP indicates buildings A & B and the actual buildings on the premises are labeled 1 & 2. We didn't know which doors to access or how to access them and it took us over 30 minutes in the dark to figure out we needed to ignore the APP building labels. Now we had to figure out how to get into the building and use the elevator with the APP, cause you can get into the elevator but it doesn't go anywhere unless you get out of the elevator and use the APP on your phone to access the elevator (you need to use your phone to scan the Q-code on outside of elevator (that's a big hint for everyone)!! Everytime you enter the elevator you must do the access code from the APP with your phone. It was just too difficult to figure out for an elderly person and I had to get the help of my son or we would have never gotten into this facility!!!! NOT USER FRIENDLY AND APP NEEDS TO BE UPDATED WITH SPECIFIC BUILDING LABELING TO BE CORRECT AND EXPLICIT INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE THE APP, PHONE AND DOORS & ELEVATORS!!!! NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER.

Excellent move in instructions. As well as security procedures to follow. Easy entrance instructions. I really like the App. And the factr that only one persdon is allowed to use own and use the app. Grfeat security!

I recently rented a unit at Public Storage @ 6917 NC-55 Fuquay and the experience was smooth. The staff was friendly and professional, guiding me through a site tour addressing all my questions with patience. The facility was clean, well-maintained, and secure. Their pricing is competitive. You do need to pay attention to the overall pricing, website is a little misleading. There is a strikethrough price and a BOLD price titled "Online only Price", that is perceived to be the monthly price, but it is not, it is only the first month or a prorated month or maybe something completely different in my case. I just went back on the site and looked at a 1st floor climate controlled 10x20 unit, the Online only price shows $204 but when you click Hold Now, the first month rent is actually $263? Be sure to click on the Hold Now button to see the pricing details. There are additional fees of a onetime $29 "Admin Fee" and Monthly $15 Insurance unless you opt out. It would be nice if the site provided a transparent summary of all cost without having to click to the Hold Now button, it makes visitors think they might be committing to a rental when in fact it just takes you to the next step. Overall, I would recommend Public Storage, prices are competitive.

I purchased a unit for a price of 167 a month it has increased to $218 in less than six months after being told that there may be a slight increase after one year. Buyers be aware of what you get. I will never purchase a storage unit from these people again after I have found a new storage unit company that will be honest.

I had been calling around different storage places and getting no answer or a no availability. When I called Public Storage in Fuquay a super nice, helpful young lady said they did have what I wanted, and I could come in that day to get it. I went in, she went over the forms with me, signed my paperwork, then walked me to my unit and told me about the lock, insurance and full 9 yards. I give her 5 stars for being so helpful and kind. Thanks again!
