Public Storage - Gastonia - 2675 South York Road

Do not like that nobody is there. The video machine sound barely works making it difficult. The 2nd day we were locked out because a mistake saying we tried to enter after hours which we did not. Other than that it was fine.

After asking the agent on the phone if a moving truck would fit in this location and explaining it was a 26ft truck we were ensured there would be no issues. We were given a storage unit all the way at the bottom lower part of the property and it is almost impossible to maneuver with the lanes and a pole on every corner what should have taken us 20 min to drop off the contents turned into over two hours of meticulous maneuvering to get that truck in and out without damage. A 26ft moving truck does NOT fit this property despite what they say unless they’re giving you a unit in a reasonable location like the first section and even that is a stretch. I was given a $25 credit for “inconvenience“. This was more than an inconvenience. Not to mention, the unit itself was filthy.

I had fast check in experience and good pricing. Overall very happy about my decision to store my items there.

Someone needs to go out there and clean up the mess that people leave, looking for another place, will never go back and the gate was open. I donﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t like not like talking to someone and how to call someone to help me, needs a person

Only reason it took so long for paperwork was that the kiosk wasn't working and I had to go to another location office and the computer wanted to change my pricing had to get district manager to overwrite it.

I like everything except they never answer the phone.

The reservation and process was quick and easy! I would definitely recommend Public Storage to any family member or friend.

My issue was with my previous rental experience. My fiend who moved my stuff out put my lock back on. I went the next day (the 1st) to get my lock. They charged me, saying my code was used on the first even though I let them know it was ONLY to get my lock. Not only did the charge me, they charged me for a whole month! For one day! One day that I didn't even have anything in the building anyway! And even the current locations employee said it didn't make sense as they noted that I punched my code at 9:40.... gate locks at 9 sooooo....??!?

Brittany is absolute sunshine on a cloudy day! She made my Public Storage experience very enjoyable and I highly recommend this location specifically because of Brittany's ability to explain the difference between each insurance package, the times to access my storage and her ability to help me pick the accurate size of storage unit she thinks I would prefer by me just telling her the belongings I need to be stored. Brittany did all of this while keeping a smile on her face and the most pleasant attitude. I was going through so much and Brittney made my day ten times better!!!
