This was a great solution to the problem of where to store our winter tires. My only complaint is the monthly insurance fee, which ends up almost doubling the price of a 5x5 unit. Customer service is excellent and the facilities themselves are clean and easy to use.

It was easy making the reservation online. Once I got to the location, the rep showed me my unit and I signed off on the paperwork which took about 10 minutes and I was done. Very easy process.

Good building and storage unit. My storage unit was empty and clean when I came, the representative was also friendly and helpful while introducing me to the sizes and explaining about all the terms. Pretty easy access to my storage, it also has a good security.

One (or the one) problem is PS has many hidden fees. When you make a reservation online, you don't know that you are going to get charged a mandatory monthly insurance fee, plus a one-time $20 or so locker fee. You can only use PS' specific locker, which is why I consider it to be a fee. In sum, don't trust the price you see in your confirmation email. That's only the lower bound if your price. Other than this, PS is a reliable storage service provider.

Fran was the staff person who helped me check in, explained how everything worked, showed me my unit, and gave me my lock. She was fantastic! Clear, organized, efficient, polite, and totally on top of everything. Other staff were coming over to ask her questions because she was the expert. You should give her a raise and make her a manager! Moving is stressful and so often staff are either clueless or rude. Fran made me happy I had chosen your facility to store my boxes and furniture.

I rented the 10×10 on 8th of the month and now I'm being proraited for the first i thought it was supposed to be from the 8th to the 7th you're staff should have explained a little better i wasn't expecting the first of the month i still have to pay rent and security on my new apt on the 31st of this month quite confused

Danielle was very helpful, explained everything, answered questions and was very patient. Of course im sure management wants her to sell their products but you can always say 'no'. I did buy some boxes and stuff because its right there. convenience. thanks again Danielle.

I was very pleased with the Public Storage in Jersey City, NJ (Newport). The staff were very professional and kind, and the facilities were secure and very clean. They answered any questions and explained everything in a knowledgeable manner.

Convenient and easy to rent

The facility is very clean. The bathrooms are clean. The staff is courteous and helpful. We were shown several storage units before we picked the one we wanted. Each storage unit we saw was immaculate.

Great place, great service, great employees, but the mandatory insurance is a little bit much. It cost 1/3 of what the unit itself cost and the fact that it wasn't mentioned at all through the entire process until literally the end was annoying.. It was a surprise and not a fun one...

Facility is the best storage facility I've ever been to in terms of cleanliness, security, and available space, in addition to extremely competitive rates. Staff was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. Would recommend to anyone in the market for storage or parking.

I made a reservation on 5x12'. Only was told it is not available 1 week later when I went on site to make payments. I, however, was offered a 10x10 or 5x 10 space, which wasn't ideal. I would give 5 Star if they would honer 5x12 space. But their did have amazing customer service and people work there was super nice and made everything easier. The space was clean and well mentioned.

BEST storage experience ever! This is the first time I've used a storage unit and Im so glad I chose this facility. The whole staff is hilarious and Sasha made the process easy and I felt very comfortable asking questions. Also she went over all the deals and made sure I was getting the proper size unit for my needs. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone who needs a storage unit!

Pubilc Storage is the best! Helpful people on staff every time we come in. It is new, clean, and well-lit. I love that we can drive our car into an inside garage to unload. They provide carts and good instructions. The rates are reasonable for such a nice climate-controlled facility.

When you come to come to this location you are immediately greeted by friendly staff and they make you feel welcome. My husband and I currently came a second time to finally finalize paperwork and Maria helped us. She was wonderful made the process look simple and she even took extra time even though we were asking a lot of questions and asked to see a second unit. Once she knew we were happy went back to the office and it was a quick and easy process. I know is only storage but her professionalism and friendliness will make me come back just to say hi. Ill make sure to bring those pork rolls Maria.

I am very overwhelmed and stress as i would be traveling to do some medical volunteer work. Maria made this experience so easy and she was wonderful. It never felt like I was coming to rent a storage. From the start to finish she was very professional and friendly. Explained everything and even took her time to assure I had no other questions. I initially booked my reservation through the Public Storage website to take advantage of an online promotion. I immediately received a call from the site I selected to confirm a reservation and move-in date. Tiara, one of the Customer Service reps, was great. She quickly and efficiently walked me through rental process. There are some upfront one-time costs that a customer needs to be aware of like a lock and administrative fees. Likewise, customers should check if their homeowners or renters insurance covers public storage as you will need coverage. Fortunately, they also have policies for this. Great service, clean facility, and convenient hours and access.
