Extra Space Storage - 3794 - Jamesburg - Gatzmer Avenue

I rented a unit for car storage. The phone operator who assigned my original unit was a cheese eating monkey who knows nothing about the Jamesburg facility! Lucky Johnathan who works at the Jamesburg facility was able to correct everything! I contacted Extra Space corporate to tell them what a great job Johnathan is doing! But I guess it’s too much trouble for corporate to call the Jamesburg location and tell Johnathan directly what a great job he’s doing!

I placed a telephone order after hours and was quickly accommodated. I havenﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t actually moved yet but didnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t experience any problems moving items into the unit the next day. Very professional and I would highly recommend this storage facility to family and friends.

We are renting a parking spot. The manager, Richard, was extremely attentive and helped us navigate the process. We are very happy with Life Storage

We rented their largest unit to store our furniture etc for 9 months. When we moved out there was animal feces and water damage on our furniture. Lots of mold and dirt. They were nice when checking in but awful experience checking out. We gave them our moved out date but our movers accidentally left the lock behind. No call from customer service to alert us to that until one day after a new month began. I had my son then drive there that same day to get the lock but they still charged us for that whole month. Now they even have a collection agency involved. Do not rent here! Unfortunately we didnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t complain nor take pictures of the damaged property since they were so nice during the check in. However, donﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t let that fool you. Good customer service would have been if they would have picked up the phone to ask us if we forgot to take the lock instead of waiting an extra 3 weeks in order to be able to collect an extra month. Nasty behavior on the phone and right away threatening with further collection instead of trying to work things out. All in all a very disappointing experience.

I dealt with Rich at the office. He was a pleasure to work with. I am a first time renter of a storage unit. He walked me thru the process easily. I would highly recommend this facility.
