Public Storage - Rockaway - 282 US Route 46

When I inquired abut a storage space, Mike took some time to explain everything about the facility, the costs, billing and everything else I needed to know. He was GREAT! The storage space that he showed me was clean and close to the parking lot. Thank You, Mike!

I had an outstanding experience at the Public Storage facility located in Rockaway, NJ. I needed help choosing between an outdoor vs an indoor unit. The manager was so helpful, taking the time to show me both units, going over the pros and cons of both. I ultimately chose the indoor unit, saving my family money as well. I highly recommend this location.

I've felt with Public Storage before at a different location also and it's always been a positive. We've never had a problem with anyone who works there or billing or getting questions answered. I'm sure this will be just as positive an experience

good price but the property has been neglected.The roof leaks.There are missing doorknobs and one of the elevators has been out of order forever.

Handled by manager very well. Explained all my options. I was very pleased.

Amazing experience and truly loved the manager Dawn, she went above and beyond. We received a call from her a few days after we rented a storage unit, to make sure we arrived in Texas safely, after moving. Thoughtful and definitely the extra mile. Thank you Dawn, you rock!!

Amazing experience! The staff Joe and Dawn were very kind and a pleasure to work with. The units were clean and weren't to expensive. Staff was always very helpful whenever we were there or when we would have to call in. I would definitely recommend this storage facility

I had called several storage companies trying to find a parking space for my work trailer but this public storage location was the only one to follow up with my request. Dawn was very helpful throughout the entire process. A month after parking my trailer she called me and told me a new space had opened up at a slightly less expensive rate which I truly appreciate. I highly recommend if you are considering using this facility, ask for Dawn

The Public Storage facility in Rockaway NJ is a clean and safe solution for storage. The staff, especially Samantha and Eric, is professional and knowledgeable.

After going through a very difficult period in my life, I no longer had a home for my possessions and had stored them with Public Storage for nearly 3 years. Due to relocating to another city, I had moved out of Public Storage and tried out a competitor (Extra Space Storage) that was close by. Unfortunately, this competitor had pulled a bait and switch scheme. While they did offer great introductory price, it was made clear they would increase the monthly rent by approx. 10-15% in 6 months, which was fine. However, that was not the case. They had increased their rate by a ridiculous 50%! Checking with Public Storage, they had another facility close by my new location and at reasonable prices without the insane increase. I'm now happily back with Public Storage in a new location.

Booked online for one price - needed to extend booking out 1 day. The price that I booked was not honored and the people I spoke to were rude. However, the facility is well-maintained and secure, easy to access.

I have used this location on 3 separate occasions and each time has been a delight! Professional staff, clean well lit facilities, no complaints!! A++++

I was impressed with the professionalism, the safety of the facility, the cleanliness, automatic lighting etc. I can't say enough about the facility in Rockaway. Eric and Ed both took good care of me.

I was completely stressed out because of my ongoing situation. There were two Reps one black and one white there were people ahead of me (observation) they seemed to be working well together to get the customers moving. Extremely polite and verse at their job. When I left my stress level went all the way down, the black guy reminded me of my son truly respectful

The location of the storage unit is not bad except when I need to leave. For example, we are not able to make a left but have to make a right and then make a u-turn. The carts for the inside lockers are very sparse and hard to find. I've only seen 2 carts for the whole facility and one has a blown out wheel. They really should have, in my opinion, a minimum of 5-6 carts available for the inside units. I do wish the inside was climate controlled. Other than that, it's pretty good, all things considered. For the size of the units, you do get a good value and as long as you don't need anything climate controlled, this is a good location.

We worked with Christopher to figure out the best storage solution for our current situation and he was just great. We are very happy with how everything worked out and will use Public Storage again in the future.
