I recently signed up for a storage unit at the Farmingdale location and had an outstanding experience, thanks to James. From the very beginning, he was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly and provided a detailed overview of the facility. James even walked me through the building, showing me the entrance, elevator, and taking me all the way to my unit on the second floor. Along the way, he pointed out everything I needed to know, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. His friendliness and professionalism were truly appreciated. The facility itself is easy to find, convenient location spotless—clean, odor-free, and cool. My unit was in perfect condition: great location, perfect size, and exceptionally clean. I’m beyond satisfied with both the service and the facility and would highly recommend Prime Storage in Farmingdale to anyone in need of storage solutions.

I was looking for a place to store my RV. I called and left a message. I received a phone call back very quickly. I went to the facility. It had exactly what I was looking for. The paperwork was completed quickly and easily, mostly thanks to Venus! She knew exactly what she was doing. No problems. I am happy I found this place.

I moved items to a storage locker yesterday. Received a warm, friendly welcome from Venus. She also assisted with guiding me through the facility.

I booked the facility for my car and furniture last minute . My booking was mainly handled online and saved me a lot of time with the paperwork. The GM of the facility was very accommodating and competed. All my needs have been meet, I know I have asked for services that are typically not offered and therefore I am extremely grateful .Next time I need a storage unit I wont compare with other locations because i prefer to work with professionals.

The storage facilities had many issues that went on without being addressed for months: the perimeter fence was cut in many places, the entrance key pad didn't work, the doors were left opened, garbage all over the place, they replace the doors of units and didn't show up to do the job on any day scheduled, etc. etc. The people are very unprofessional, rude and dismissive of any issue. They keep raising the rent and don't provide any improvements and/or concessions. I would NOT recommend this place to anybody!

DO NOT RENT FROM Prime Storage in Farmingdale. They should be shut down. The outside door does not lock so anyone can walk in at any time. There is one elevator in the entire storage facility and IT NEVER WORKS. There are NEVER moving carts or hand trucks so you have to carry everything up and down steps The doors are all different sizes so, your box or furniture might fit in the 1st floor door but when you get to the top of the steps (yes - is said steps because the elevator never works) the door is a different, smaller size, so, your item may not fit through that door and you are stuck in the stairwell with your item. Management is despicable. I was due for a credit and I was told (this is not a joke) that because I was leaving the facility they were no longer giving me my credit because they didn't care anymore since I was no longer going to be a customer. If you leave even one minute past 10pm you are locked IN - NOT JOKING. The gate to leave the facility does NOT OPEN after 10pm from the inside. We were locked in. When we called the Prime Storage support number they didn't know what to do. We were stuck in the parking lot for over an hour and almost had to call the police to get us out. After speaking with other customers I met at the facility they were also moving out because of the same poor management and deplorable conditions of the facility. Prime storage might very well be one of the worst companies I have dealt with in a very long time. I also rent from Lifetime in Hicksville and they are WONDERFUL. Clean, always have carts and courteous staff. My advice to anyone considering Prime Storage in Farmingdale is DON'T DO IT. YOU WILL REGRET IT. You will be carrying your boxes with no hand trucks up and down 2 flights of steps and the management is rude, and does not care about you at all.

Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢ve been with you guys since August 1, 2020 since then itﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s going up twice on me. I feel that if you sign up for a year that shouldnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t go up until the year was up.

The manager is very nice, the place has improved since the turnover, but it's still too expensive. No elevator for people, few dollies.

It would get a 5 star rating but the elevators at this location needs to be updated and fixed. Otherwise I can't complain.

The staff is helpful and communicative. Facilities are clean and most are climate controlled. Well priced when I compared to area. The only reason I didn't give a 5 rating was due to elevator outage. They are in process of repair so issue doesn't continue.

The manager on site was very knowledgeable helpful , He took no time at all to help me with my move in . He was able to get me done with paper work in about 10 minutes.

Was impressed on rental promotion. However, the office computer was freezing up, took a long time to get paperwork complete. Worker had to send documents via Email for e signings. The gate code didn't work the couple times trying it out. The restroom is locked, need to ask for key & is difficult to close & lock door. Needs code entry & there was no tissue or soap.

This facility is very clean with great price. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. I highly recommend this facility to my friends! Very happy customer!

Was on the market for a safe clean well priced storage facility and i am SO GLAD i came across these guys. Sheldon (the manager) was expresmly helpful in order for me to not get something bigger than i needed. Very well pleased would reccomend 10/10.

Facility was taken over by prime storage a month. From my experience it was simple. A little old and outdated but the customer service rep Sheldon was really nice and helpful. Heard there gonna do renovations now that there taken over by prime storage cant wait.
