Public Storage - Canal Winchester - 5275 Gender Rd

Everything was easy and went well.

We have been very impressed with our storage rental. We rented a 10' x 10' temperature controlled unit. The building and our unit are very clean. It's easy to come and go as we need to, with the Public Storage App making it very easy. The rental process and billing is smooth and simple. We are very happy with our rental!

The site manager went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and find the unit I was looking for. She also went and got a move in cart for me to put my stuff on. She wasn't aware at the time that I'm partially handicapped and don't walk very well at times ( I have good days and bad days with it). Thank you!

I signed up online, but I needed a little help just to be sure I did it all correctly. That gentleman was nice, but I was under the impression that I was able to get the special deal that was going on for the units. The next thing that happened was I was billed for multiple units. When I called twice to inquire about this, my calls were not returned. I arrived at the storage facility at 2:46 pm after driving 4 hours, and the office door was locked. I knocked on the door and a few minutes later a lady answered the door. She was not in a very good mood it seemed . I asked if I could use the restroom because I had been driving for hours and the moving truck would soon be at the facility. I was told no and to go down the road to a gas station. I asked about the special that was going on and she told me my unit couldnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t have it. My experience with public storage has been horrible. On the flip side Two Men and a Truck moved my things, and I canﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t say enough good about them. They were kind, attentive, helpful, and professional. What a contrast in the two companies!!

Quick and easy experience in a convenient location.

I met this lady over there and she's a very very good person and her name is Jasmine and I wish everyone is like her, very knowledgeable, respectful, make you feel comfortable and she helped me so much while I was there through out entire time.

Employee was efficient in getting the paperwork done. Had to be extremely close to receiving unit to get gate to open.

The young lady behind the desk was very helpful with directions getting to the unit.

The facility was very clean and the access was easy.

I'm very satisfied with public storage. I just did not realize it was going to cost 80 my first day as well as the $15 extra for the insurance. Besides that I give it a 5 stars.

Good service and quickly through the processes

We got a good deal on a 5x10 climate controlled unit but there are a couple of surprises waiting for you. the first month for a dollar is nice but they hit you with a $24 admin fee. Then, even though I brought a really nice lock with us, We were told that it's mandatory that we buy their $20 lock. Regular locks don't fit their special lock inserts. It wouldn't be so bad if they would tell you this up front. The gentleman working there is very pleasant and helpful. The price of the 5x10 cannot be beat and the facility is clean.

Daric was nice and helpful. Easy to get into the unit, although I was never informed that I MUST buy a special lock for the unit. Went to put my stuff in the unit, and there's a big roach running around. Not too happy about having bugs in my stuff.

Juanita and staff are outstanding. The facility is clean, the units are nice and not beaten up inside. We had rented from here in the past and have utilized a couple of other facilities, but this is by far the best; so we are back. Trust me this is one of the best on the east/south east side of town.

My experience was very pleasurable. The lady that helped me was very personable, friendly and thorough in explaining everything to me.

Flo was really wonderful and help to me. She was pleasant and very funny! That is a quality that has been lacking in customer service throughout the Columbus area in my opinion! It is already disturbing for the reasoning of me renting a storage to begin with. But Flo made my day with her smile :) Oh and my space was clean ;)

I have been doing business with public storage for over 10 years now. I have always received excellent customer services. I would recommend renting from public storage to family, friends, and the general public.

I walked into the office, ask to see a few units, signed my lease, and went about the rest of my day in less than :30mins.

My wife and I rented a small climate-controlled unit to help move some belongings out of the home we're trying to sell, while we wait to close on our new house. Victoria, the employee that greeted me, was very friendly, and did a great job of making sure I got the right-sized unit for what we needed to store. I really appreciated that she drove me out to see the unit and answer any questions before I completed the application paperwork. I'd definitely recommend this Public Storage location to anyone in the Canal Winchester area looking for a place to de-clutter their homes!
