At first all was good. But the key pad doesn't work and now they NEVER stay open when they should be open! Just the other night we couldn't access our unit at 5:30 pm on a Sunday. That's unacceptable.

Location manager in Norman, Oklahoma on Classen Blvd. Is awesome. She was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Start to finish I was in the office, viewed multiple units, signed agreement, and was done & leaving in less than 30 minutes. Will never go anywhere else.

Immediately after deciding to reserve the unit for the online price of $48 a month, with a $1 plus administrative fee for the first month, I received a phone call recommending that I come in to sign the contract to insure that the type of unit I wanted would be available when needed. I did go into the office within the hour, was treated nicely, started signing the contract, and then found that I was also REQUIRED to buy insurance for my possessions. In my 66 years, and multiple storage rentals, this is an unpleasant first. I believe this should be stated on your website under the rental fee. Management also put a lock on the unit until I could return with my own; but, two days after renting it, I received an email informing me their lock was in an open position, the unit unsecured, and I needed to fix the issue because your staff can't. I explained when i rented the unit that i wouldnt be moving into the unit for two weeks. Now, it appears I will be having to take my lock within the week. These issures are the reason for 3/5 on the review.

I was surprised that Public storage was so competively priced., actually much lower priced than the completion in my area. the manager was very friendly and suggested a unit twice the size for about 10 more per month. boy was I glad as I used the space. even with the ten dollars more /month it was still cheaper than much smaller units of the completion. Bright and clean newly painted large door and easy access.. security is superb and individual security code so they know who comes and goes. On sight management 7 days a week and most of the accessible hours. I will never need access at 2am so it works great for me and is not accessible to thief's at 2 am either.

Online prices are great and the facility is nice. I just didn't like having to get insureance without warning before I signed an agreement.
