I picked a 5'x 10' unit. 1s/floor, Alarm, Climate Controlled, Interior. Real nice and clean. Loved the low price and easy access to the unit for moving in.

First time renting a storage unit and the customer service was fantastic! I showed up about an hour before closing and had forgotten my homeowners insurance declaration. I ran home and returned minutes before they were to close, on a Saturday. They were very gracious and helped me finish the process. If not I would have had to wait to Monday and the entire weekend I had planned to move stuff would have been a wash. Thank you staff members for amazing customer service! You helped make my weekend productive :)

Excellent service very affordable convenient location

I needed a 5x5 storage space. So after doing some research I found Prime Storage on a website that finds storage units for a reseaonal price and at a location that is close to you. The customer service was very helpful and answered all my questions. The facility was very clean easy to access.

Was told $33 a month then I was told another $17 a month for insurance am not happy

Move in was smooth thanks to Dustin who was informative and made it easy to understand the doﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s and donﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢ts. He showed me my space and I was very satisfied with the service provided. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Angie made things so easy at the Carlisle Rd facility in York. Moving is never much fun but she made renting a unit pretty painless and was very professional and easy to work with. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the unit and her eagerness to be as helpful as possible. I used the truck for moving which saved me money. I'm very pleased with my experience.

I contact Capital Storage initially via telephone through the website and talk to a virtual customer service representative and then the information was sent to the local office who contacted me for any additional questions or concern. They also handle some advance paperwork on the phone until the date I was schedule to come in for use of the unit a few days later. When I arrived the day to pick up the key and complete the signing of required documents the office manager was very thorough in detailing all requirements and instructions of the rental. Then she had the staff gentleman take me through the gate and to my unit to make sure all the security numbers and key worked. I felt very comfortable moving forward on my own since this was my first time renting a paid storage unit. They are a professional team @ the Carlisle location.

First it was hard to find then entrance then to find any employees. There was one guy running everything so make sure you have an appointment or you will be waiting. There is an administrative fee, a fee to but one of their locks and forced insurance. The place is clean but it wasn't very easy to get stuff into an inside unit.

CAPITAL SELF STORAGE IS A REALLY NICE PLACE YOU CAN TRUST YOUR BELONGINGS AND ALL YOUR PERSONAL ITEMS ITS CHEAPER THEN ALL THE OTHER STORAGE UNITS ELSE WHERE. AND ITS VERY CLEAN.

Great place... Climate controlled

I did my preliminary info online then went to the site to sign my lease. I was able to complete all of the paperwork, payment, and see the unit in about 20-30 minutes. The facility seems secure and well-lit. My only advice would be to gather insurance information prior to move-in to avoid purchasing their higher priced policy. There is a $25 admin fee to get started and a $13.99 cylinder lock purchase required so be prepared for those additional expenses. The gentleman who helped me did notice that I didn't have a monthly promotion, so he offered the current promotion of $1 for first month's rent.

My initial impression of the facility is positive, as well as the staff that assisted me, and expect that my (hopefully) long-term rental with Capital will be a positive experience, however, when encountering some "communication misunderstandings"*, the staff I originally dealt with seemed at least interested enough to provide legitimate customer service, whereas the individual at an affiliated facility (from which I had to get the "free" truck), dealt with me as if I was nothing more than a nuisance and an interruption of his day. *During my initial visit to the West York facility, as well as subsequent phone calls, I had inquired about whether a truck was available for "no charge" for my move into the unit I was considering to rent (as was my understanding from previous visits to Capital facilities in the past); the simple response was "yes"; only when I had already committed to renting the unit (signed paperwork and all!!) was I then told that, yes, there is no charge for the daily rental of the truck, however, there is a mileage charge of $.75/mile, with only the first 20 miles being "no charge". When hearing this, I expressed my frustration and constructive criticism that the individuals that I had initially spoken to should have informed me of this when I had first asked about the availability of a "free" truck; I had recommended that the person should have responded "Yes. . . with limitations". O.k. . . . no biggie . . . a simple misunderstanding, which the person I was dealing with seemed sincerely apologetic about and did what she could to resolve my concerns. As to the other individual I dealt with over the weekend . . . I will be happy to provide further details regarding the, in my opinion, rudeness with which I was dealt with if/when appropriate parties choose to contact me to follow up (as I'm not a cyber mud-slinger!)

When I arrived at the time to sign my paperwork, the customer service rep was working with another customer. I waited nearly an hour while he waited on her. Even though I placed all my information on line while securing the unit, all my information wss not in the computer and I had to wait another hour for him to enter it..He was friendly, but I really lost a lot of time when I could have been home packing.
