Public Storage - Charleston - 2363 Ashley River Road

I was instructed that i should install the app and did. It didn't work getting in to the facility but it does work getting out. ? ? ? ?

Very clean. Not cramped at all inside gates.

Not worth the money. They claim climate controlled storage units but there is nothing climate controlled about it.

The staff were helpful and instructions were clear

Their storage units are fairly priced

Just the place we were looking for to store our travel trailer - good customer service with easy access to a secured lot

Great place, from the cleanliness of the facility to the helpful staff. I did completed everything online so yes, it was a breeze to move my things in.

Got a great price on a unit that was larger than I needed. The indoor units could use more lighting but all units are accessible and they provide carts to move your items.

I came to the storage with an oversized load, Angel was very accommodating to find a space that fit my needs. She was very friendly, professional and helpful. Truly she took a situation that could have been a disaster for me and worked with me. She had a great attitude and saved the day for me!

Well, its only been two days and tonight was the night I took my boat there. So far so good.

I am very satisfied with the product, I shopped around with several in the area, and the closest one happened to be Public Storage, thankfully so because it was the most reasonably priced with the least up-front fees and insurance premium. The security and lighting are fully functional and I know my property is safe behind lock and key.

The first time I made a reservation my spot was given to someone else and then I had to make another reservation at a second place. I was enroute from Canton, Ohio to the Charleston SC area when I received the message. Not a good time to hunt for a storage space when you are traveling.

Professional and efficient

Gate does not work. I was told on the day I booked my storage unit the gate would be fixed with in 24hrs, it has now been two weeks and still not fixed. Automatic doors entering indoor storage is broken so therefore it is always open. I am a single female is while moving stuff into my unit on the third floor I was totally uncomfortable. Anyone could be hidding inside as it is getting colder outside and we have a large homless population here seeking shelter...

I've used this storage facility now for 2 years. I have an indoor unit but for a short time also had an outside unit. Compared to the prices of other local storage units in Charleston this one is the cheapest but that also comes with a few problems. The AC on my storage controlled unit has not worked properly several times over the years. Also I can't remember a time when the automatic doors on the inside units worked properly. You have to manually pull them open. The ceiling in my outside unit also had some water damage but luckily I was only storing things in that unit that could not be damaged. The front security gates seem to work and be locked most of the time. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 3 because I do like the staff here. They have always been very nice and helpful and I realize they are not in a position since this is a corporate company to always fix things on their own.

Tracy, Jem, & Tonya worked together as a team and were helpful and efficient, handling and explaining the paperwork and contact. The site seemed clean and neat.

I have a second floor climate controlled unit so no worries about flooding which is a huge deal in Charleston. Nice to know I'll be gone for months and won't have to worry about my stuff. Great property. Jessica (or Jennifer I forget) was very friendly and accommodating. I feel very comfortable and secure with my decision to go with public storage. Especially since beyond everything else they're cheaper than most their competitors.

Walking into the place I felt like I was home. Tracy was so helpful, and made sure I got exactly what I needed at the best price. The place is very secure, and the sign up process couldn't have been easier. My storage room is so big I can keep everything I need to store here. The access to the unit is the best part, I can get a big moving truck in and out with ease. Thanks to all of the girls at Public Storage.

Great service, great folks and really nice facility

Don't need to check out other storage facilities, this one is the best in the Greater Charleston area. The ladies went above and beyond to exceed my expectations. Friendly, accommodating, knowledgable manager, this facility runs flawlessly!

I made a reservation online. When I arrived the employee actually had a storage unit as reserved online. He was polite and professional. He quickly explained all I needed to know and did the paperwork. I was in and out and happy

I needed a space FAST due to a quick move-out and no place to put my things. Your employees showed me a space larger than I needed but told me about a discount making it less than a smaller space. That showed great customer service. I was in and out in 20 minutes. The space is plenty big, dry and convenient 24/7. Would recommend anytime.
