My $20,000.00 trailer was stolen after only 3 days in their supposed secure storage lot. After 2 months and numerous calls with no response from the General Manager his response finally was “that’s a shame it was stolen “. End of story.

We recently rented a storage space at Main Road Storage on Johns Island, SC. The customer service representative was very helpful to us in filling out the paperwork, showing us the storage area, explaining access to the facility, and setting up automatic payments. It was very busy on a Saturday morning, but the staff helped customers as quickly and efficiently as they could, and our wait time to be helped was not unreasonable. Our storage space was clean, and the monthly rental amount compared very favorably with other storage facilities I had checked out in the area.

We rented a unit in the climate controlled building, and they were extremely helpful showing us the available unit and how to access the building—making sure we could operate the keypad, etc. And they very thorough in their paperwork as well as kind and friendly. Plus the unit is in sparkling new condition with several carts available to load items on to take to the unit, and the elevator is large and works perfectly. It’s ideal for our needs.

Recently moved out of my apartment and had to find storage for all of my furniture. This place was conveniently located on Johns Island and came through within the clutch. Prices are affordable, place is kept neat and tidy, and staff is hella helpful. Also, they have their own UHaul trucks for rental too!

The people that work here are really nice they also had everything I needed as far as things for the move I would definitely recommend them to someone that is looking for a storage unit large or small.

So the heading sums it up. Superb. The staff, location, and being an air conditioned. I could not find a facility to accommodate my needs and the ease of access to the facility is great. The facility is secured and cleaned.

From the moment I entered the office, I felt welcomed. The staff provided me with a secure, professional comfort that my possessions would be safe and sound there, and also gave me a feeling of community and welcoming, like even my tiny 4x3 unit was important to them. I don't think I'll ever use another storage facility.

I feel very secure in this facility. The building is very clean and really well maintained. It's important to me to also be in an indoor unit. The safety is doubled and the temperature control means my furniture and other belongings will not be affected by the outdoor weather. Thanks for a good experience!

The staff is courteous and friendly. The facility is generally clean with the exception of a couple piles of junk around trailers. The storage buildings are spaced oddly so that is is difficult to drive through, especially with a moving truck.

I was a highly satisfied customer until my rate was increased without my prior knowledge. At that time I was a long time customer and did not feel like my rate should have increased especially without being notified first. The seal on my unit is also not very great as I have seen a lizard inside of the unit.

Excellent storage units, very clean and secure. Good accessibility options. The only negatives I observed were that the monthly rates seemed a little steep, and the online bill pay that was offered on their website did not work when I tried to use it several times.

I store my 31 foot Newmar motorhome at Main Road Storage. Due to a landscaping issue they moved me to a different parking spot, making it easier to back in. After I moved to the new spot another customer, who was upset that my rig was next to his travel trailer, blocked the entry door to my RV, claiming he did not have enough room to back in. I was able to get into the RV, but it was very difficult and was able to go on the planned trip. The staff at Main Road storage contacted me before I contacted them. They apoligized for the problem with the other customer. They were aware of his actions. When they contacted me the offered a differnt spot and gave me a month free.

Facility has easy access and appears to be very secure. The manager, Cindy, went out of her way to help me get my move completed! Would recommend to anyone needing storage.

the storage for R V's isn't very good and it's difficult to get R V in the space ; Customer Service was great the lady was very helpful

Everyone has always been very helpful and friendly. The units are easy to get into. The hours are long making it convenient when I want to go there I can get into my unit.

The people I have dealt with for the last few years have been very helpful. The space we rent is well maintained and provides easy access for us. We rent a climate controlled space and the temperature is always as it should be. We would highly recommend.

We have used the facility since the first of the year when we moved from Myrtle Beach to Charleston. Courteous and friendly staff and a clean facility.

The staff has always been so helpful and understanding. Payments can be set up automatically or simply call or drop by the office to make a payment. The hours of operation and access are great, we have never run into an issue with our space. I would recommend this property for a storage space, they are professional.

This is an immaculate, non-climate controlled drive up facility with a fairly well-stocked office. But the real selling point is customer service. Cindy is THE BEST, she goes out of her way to make this an efficient and enjoyable experience. Even when she isn't there, anyone who is goes out of his way to be helpful. I broke the key off in a lock and couldn't open my 10 x 30 unit when a gentleman in an inner office went out of his way to figure out how to open it. We couldn't be happier.
