Fairground Stor-N-Lok

Ive been here about 9 months and I love it. 7 mins from the Gulch. Sherry and Nick are awesome. Prices are great plus there are no extras like admin fees and insurance. Every place Ive ever used before as soon as my promotion ends they raise the rent. The people here are cool and if you accidently forget to close your unit and remember the next day, your stuff will be fine. Sherry has a very strict rule, if its not by the dumpster, Don't touch it. Ive left my unit unlocked for days and nothing was disturbed. You can use the dumpster here, and it gets dumped 3 times a week, thats a real blessing. Only thing a little challenging is the Sat. Soccer games at Geodis. Just plan your trip around the traffic or its bad! I love it! You'll love it too! Oh another thing there's no bugs or mice that I've seen. We have some community cats that handle that issue! We love our cats! But don't worry they won't come around you unless you feed them.

Signing up was easy and the lady at the front desk (forgive me, I'm terrible with names) was very friendly and helpful. She made sure the unit I reserved was the one I wanted. Moving in was also easy, and the unit was clean. In conclusion, there's no buyers remorse here.

A little pricey for what you get, but cheaper than keeping an apartment I'm not staying in while I'm in training for work.

I have not used a storage unit before so I have nothing to compare the unit with. However, we were in a pinch between moves and made an online reservation one day and moved furniture in the storage unit the next day. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the property appears to be well kept.

My only problem is their gate hours, 6am-7pm. Wish it could be open a little later but besides that it's a great facility.

I have used Stor-n-Loc twice now, and both times the customer service was great and the facility is clean and safe.

My one issue was the floor of the unit was not swept.

This my second time using the facility and I've pleasant experiences both times. The staff is always friendly, the gate seems secure and the units are clean and protected.

The price for the stoarge unit was more than I was quoted on the phone, so I was surprised by that. Otherise, I was happy with eveyrthing else regarding our move-in experience.

As college students, it was obviously our first time renting a storage unit, so we had lots of questions which just seemed to annoy the front desk worker. Location was farther away than expected and the unit was not drive-up like it said it would be online.

I had to wait to get in, and then again to be helped. But after the delay I have no complaints, the people were nice, and helpful, and the unit very fairly priced.

I never received my bills in the mail, despite repeated requests. I always, however, received, the late notices in the mail. The manager said they were emailing the bills to me, but I never got them, even after I corrected her misspelling of my email. They are consistently incompetent and inept. It doesn't take much to manage a storage unit facility, but it is clearly beyond the ability of the person currently in charge. I don't have time to deal with them every single month about the same exact issue. There are plenty of storage unit facilities in Nashville and, if I were you, I would pick any one of them over this one.

No easy way to get to most units. Stor-N-Lok hard to find and hard to get to. Must be there by 19:00 to get in even with a code.

While checking the place out, I had the fortune of meeting a long term (4 year) tenant of Fairgrounds Stor-N-Lok and he had nothing but positive things to report about the the place. I was initially looking at a smaller unit but when I saw the "one car garage" 10X15 unit with the overhead roll-up door - I took it! Security is high, the property is carved out of a hillside steep: sheer rock cliffs or dense groves of Chinese honeysuckle are just beyond the six foot tall chain linked fence. Additionally, the Manager lives onsite, they have security cameras that actually work. A unique pass code is required to enter AND to exit the facility.

This was my first experience with a storage facility, and I was very impressed with everything from the security, to the cleanliness, to the helpfulness of Sherry Messer in the office. It was a very positive experience, and I would definitely recommend it.

Can't say anything bad! Great location to Belmont, affordable price, and plenty of room in the 5x5 unit. Also, the person at the front desk was extremely nice and made moving in very relaxing.
