CubeSmart Self Storage - Austin - 1905 E William Cannon Dr

I was reserved for space 13 for my flatbed trailer and it was occupied. So I needed to park in space 22 but I am needing to inform the facility.

It's super close to my home and easy to get to. The unit was clean and the hallways are too. Magnets to hold doors are busted anyone can enter the inside there's no lock to the inside. Also NO WHEELY CARTS. I haven't seen a staff member either. It's clean and cheap so still worth it.

The process to reserve and pay for the storage unit was incredibly quick and easy.It was a great deal for the size. And someone with CubeSmart reached out to me immediately after booking the unit to discuss set up and getting me the welcome pack and everything that I needed to use the unit SAME DAY! (: Very happy with my choice.

Oh wow, where to begin? It was a quick and easy process to find the space that I needed. Management is super nice with a great attitude and fun to talk with. When I got there, I noticed the manager was going above and beyond to answer any questions or address any concerns that I had about the space. It did get busy all of a sudden, but they gracefully handled the situation whereas other places would have shown signs of stress. It helped me realize this location wanted my business and cared about my items also. They even went out to get the golf cart for a ride to the space. Even their own storage space was well-organized. Their office is immaculately clean and the lot itself is nearly perfect and well organized. There's a gate code, cameras and barbed wire and wrought-iron gating around the facility with spikes to deter any would-be criminals to move on down the road. It makes me feel comfortable storing my things here. Although it's not usually something you look for in a storage facility, I happened to notice there are many amenities in the immediate area (within walking distance), such as a major grocery store chain, a small strip mall with restaurants, gym, laundromat, fast food, sporting goods store, gas stations, convenient stores, car wash, auto parts store, tire place, city bus station hub and a decent apartment complex nearby. You could throw a rock and hit some of the places. Super Wal-mart, Home Depot and banks are just a few miles away and easily accessible via the city buses that run often. It makes it really convenient to access belongings for people who perhaps are new to, or are planning to move to Austin, who might be staying in a nearby hotel or family/friend's place or for people who are moving or might move into the nearby apartment complex. All of these are within walking distance of each other, being less than a half a mile of each other. Just a wonderful choice for newbie Austinites or the traveler who needs an in-town hub.

This manager is a true example of great customer service. I was having trouble with my lock. After a few minutes the manager came outside to see if I needed help. Not many places would be that pro-active. I feel so much safer knowing those cameras are watched by a real person. The manager was so personable while I was checking in. He went through the terms of service with me line by line. That is so important to me. I have trouble seeing small writing. Overall I could not have asked for better service. Thank you

No carts to be found here, which makes all the difference when moving multiple boxes or heavy items

It was very last minute and I was helped accordingly, with the service and the efficiency. Easy process.

The climate control is not exactly what I was expecting. The temperature is left at 75 degrees. Which is alright for many things, even electronics. The problem is, at 75 degrees, its hard to control the humidity. I got the storage unit because I have a lot of expensive electronics. I couldn't store certain stuff and had to find alternative places because the humidity is way too high for computers or anything with a processor. When I initially rented the unit, it was cooler out and the humidity factor wasn't apparent. If you are going to tell customers its safe for electronics, you should probably lower the temp and humidity.

i had a great experience at this facility, very professional and it has great security features. I also really want that 250 dollar gift card. I honestly don't give two poops about storage facilities

CubeSmart is a nice little storage place. The staff were very helpful and polite. They showed us around the place and gave us equipment to transport our furniture.

The phone was answered right away and I appreciated the service.

It is inconvenient to not be able to use the moving dollies without doing it during business hours. The last facility would leave the dollies in the hallways.

We got in after hours to drop off items in the unit for the first time. Our code didn't work and we were able to call a representative to let us know we were a number off. We were very happy that we didn't have to drive our 17 ft uhaul off after a full day of moving. We just needed to get it done! Great customer service.
