Public Storage - Austin - 9205 Research Blvd

The Public Storage I used on the same side as transit center I wouldn't advice anyone to go there.First,they jacked the price up $30 last month. I hear they do this often.Employees are snobby big time. Recently during the bad storms that sadly claimed lives,I got caught in this while at my unit. It was raining so hard I had to close the door.A female employee came during this downpour yelling telling me to leave now. I waited until it slacked some but still got soaked as I was walking no vehicle. She told me I would be wrote up. Two days later the district manager Joshua told me to vacate. I was almost done the last day but went back before the operating hours were over only to find they had already changed my lock. A few days ago they let me come to get my things. It was a last minute thing so I was on foot with a dolly but wasn't given enough time once again so I didn't get all my things. I should've been refunded July's fees but wasn't. I would not recommend Public Storage at all. They are some of the rudest people I've dealt with. Very unprofessional and snobby and will jack the price up often. It was so wrong how they did me. Forcing me to vacate because I didn't immediately leave to be soaked or even worse. The storms were really bad on that day. So wrong how they have treated me. So I say..STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!!!!

Tommie is really great as a manager and he showed me the property. He also gave me various options and gave me true recommendations that fits my needs. Also, the process of signing up for space is simple and quick check out experience helps save time.

Tommie was great! my only concern is that the rate could go up every six months. that seems a little excessive.

Excellent service. On site office guy was courteous, organized and very helpful. Had all the paperwork done and storage unit secured in 15m. Will definitely use this particular site again

Outstanding customer service. Was in and out quickly. Great prices on packing supplies. Better prices for units than the competitors. Gated storage facility with on site camera security, Public Storage offers temperature control units.

Needed a storage unit asap near home. Did not have any idea of what size. I did know what I could afford. I was greeted in office by a very nice gentleman named Tommie and he gave great advice on what size unit I would need. It is a perfect fit for my stuff and my budget. Very happy. Tommie was AWESOME!!!! He made something I was dreading so easy. He explained every details and made sure our unit was the right size. The property was clean and well laid out. We could not be happier.

Just emptied my storage and moved out of town. I kind of wished I would have kept a unit here just to be able to say hi to Tommie every coupla weeks. He is a breath of fresh air when it comes to doing business as well as being personable. The world needs more people like him and the corporate world would not seem as cold as it does if they modeled their staff after Tommie. Was a pleasure to communicate with him and I am in awe of his professional nature.

My house burned down & i needed a good, convenient, close storage space. Tommie was excellent fulfilling my needs. He didn't try to up sell me, he just did his best to fulfill my needs. I highly recommend this location...& Tommie is the BEST!

I needed a basic storage unit and found the best price at a location near me. I was impressed with the manager who was helpful, personable, and professional. The unit is working out perfect- I feel safe using the facility.

Everything is great. Just would like to have 24 hour access and where you can punch in your gate number from the car.

I didn't realize the inside units were not climate controlled, but the staff were helpful and the price is reasonable and the location has good reviews.

Fantastic Public Storage facility. Tommie is the BEST Public Storage rep I've ever met and I've used PS for at least 25 years now. By far the best customer service, calm, patient, VERY helpful with everyone who walks in the door. He remembers everyone's name after 1 visit! My move in was pretty sudden and unexpected. After we found the place, the staff working there were very helpful in detailing everything I needed to know and getting everything squared away quickly and painlessly.

Between leases. Wanted location close to both apartments. Price was major factor. This was good price for the area. They need to replace the entry keypad because it is impossible to read the keys. Just annoying. I like the new lock system for security but did feel like the mandatory purchase and pricing was too high. For my short term purposes I would have been happier to just use my own lock that I paid a lot for in the past. Now it's obsolete. Tommie was nice, professional and helpful. Good sense of humor. :)

The fence that enclosed the property had been destroyed by people jumping it, cutting it with wire cutters, etc. I had a tiny, non-climate controlled unit and felt that it was very over-priced. The workers were friendly, but that was the only positive.
