Public Storage - Watauga - 5501 Watauga Rd

Not the best start. I had an appointment at 10:30 Oct. 25. I was there on time with a truck load of stuff to store. The office was closed. I later found out that the manager had taken the day off and recommended l go to another Public Storage (PS) facility. I did. But that office was closed to. We called PS # and completed the on line register and got the unit # and access code. Went back to Watagua. Unit 422 was dirty but we loaded our stuff but the latch did not work. I canﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t lock the unit. Called PS. They gave us unit 421. We moved our stuff into it and locked the unit. We were charged for two units plus two admin and lock fees. Working on refunds now. The very very nice lady at the PS facility on Beach Str and N Tarrant Parkway was so helpful and facilitating. She helped reduce the anxiety. We want to thank her. All is good now.

I had an appointment (Oct. 25). Public Storage 5501 Watagua Road. I went with truck load to store in a unit. No one there. Property manager was there but not working. She told us to go to the other facility down the road. I went. No one there. Called CS. Told to complete on line. Ok. Got unit 0422 and access code. Moved in. Latch would not lock. Had to re-register to get another unit. All good. Got partial refund but Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢m entitled to more. Should never be this difficult to rent and move into a storage unit. Property Manager at the Beach Street and N. Tarrant Parkway Public Storage very very helpful. Thanks to her we were able to get moved in and secured.

This is my first unit I've ever rented and so far, so good! Lady at front desk was super nice and facilities and unit seemed clean. There was a huge turtle outside the building to welcome me so I'm hoping that's a good luck sign lol.

This is not climate controlled , only the first floor. The second floor is not. I spoke with the owner and the manager they said they don't care. I told them if it was climate controlled i will not sweat just standing doing nothing. So don't get storage in this facility. Spare foot promised that it was climate controlled. I guess it is not their fault.

It's fine, I'd like to see wider alleys to that trailer maneuvering is easier.
