Excellent service and storage unit

Really enjoyed the complete set up with security gates, easy access, clean facility with squeaky clean restrooms, well lit walk areas, and positive helpful staff.

Latasha was a joy to work with! How nice to find the rare employee who still makes customer service her priority. We are in our 70s and her patience and kindness was so appreciated

I had a very good experience dealing with this facility. They followed up in a timely manner and very professional helping me complete the necessary paperwork.

Access system down, gates were manually open for weekend access. Very busy

Public Storage off Custer does a really nice job and has friendly staff. My only complaint is the number of times you have to enter a code. Carrying loads or maneuvering carts can make it difficult especially if by yourself. I think the one from the elevators could be removed. I believe in safety but it seems a bit over the top.

Being there's only one entrance, they should take steps to prevent people from hogging the front spots with their dropped trailer, while they unload their truck that is taking up additional areas, such as handicapped spots.

CJ was extremely helpful and professional. He took the time to show me several different units that I had questions about. Explained all the security involved and made the rental agreement a breeze.

When I called to get a unit, I had looked online and received a price that wasnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t on the system. There was no arguing, they simply honored the price . When I check the unit the gentleman showing it explained everything to a t. And amazed I was at the cleanliness of the entire facility . No worries here for me and I would highly suggest giving this place a look if you intend on storing anything

I rented a unit on 1/4. I was asked if I needed the lock removed so I can move my stuff in. Told her that I did plan on coming back that night to drop off at the new unit 2267. Something came up and I wasn't able to come back until 1/9. I loaded up my van and drove to the facility. Unloaded some of my stuff to the cart, went to the unit I rented and there was a lock on it. This was at 8pm at night so I went back down and unloaded the cart and unload my van back at the house. I called the facility on 1/10 and said it was my fault that I didn't come up there during business hours and have them remove the lock so I could put mine in. I was never told that I had to do that, I don't know the policies if no one tells me. Also, I am not able to come up there during the week as I work and my drive does not allow me to be there during those hours. When I called she told me that they said I had to be there when they removed their lock so I can put mine in. Again, it was my fault, not the facility. I was never told this and am extremely upset I had to pack the van, drive II there, just to find a lock on it.

The only thing I wish was that the website disclosed the required insurance.

I have rented storage units in Chicago, Virginia, Maryland, Florida, and now in Texas. Overall experience with Public storage has been the most satisfactory for me because of the price and knowledge of the managers of the facility. Many companies like Extra space only want money and on top of it, they love to raise their prices anytime they want to, and that is why I choose Public storage. I moved my storage from Extra Space $60 a month to Public storage $30 in Virginia. If you want customers to be happy with a product, give them what they need not what the company needs.

the people are very professional and courteous and helpful. the facility is very clean and all syatems work well mechanically and electrically.

It was not disclosed to me that you as a renter must buy the special lock that only works with public storage lockers. I asked to provide my lock and not use the pin lock and was told it was required after the fact. I was also told it is not refundable as well even though the return policy at the bottom of the receipt that says I have 30 days to return any items. Other than that it was a clean and secure storage place. I feel safe storing my things there and appreciate the month to month and the $1 signup promotion.
