Public Storage - Houston - 8555 Larkwood Drive

Process was super easy, price is great! A bit disappointed in the access hours only being 9:30am-6pmﾃ｢竄ｬﾂｦ makes it hard to do anything before or after work. Very thankful they have contactless online check-in, etc. because no office staff member has shown up for work in 3 days (at least not the hours I have been there). I had planned on buying a few boxes and things from them, but wound up having to order from Walmart instead since the office never opened. The facility is safe, clean, and easy to access and again, the price canﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t be beat!

It's clean safe and protected. Brand new building plenty of parking and manybdifferent climate control units

Move in and paper work was very easy and quick. overall the facility was clean and no musty orders that would indicate water issues. The person on duty that day was helpful . They day in moved into my locker there was many other people doing the same. The only staff person on duty was amazing and efficient when dealing with the many other new renters.

Great price and climate controlled unit.

On line process was easy. The facility is new and clean. The hours are limited, but that's understandable since the neighborhood is not the best. However, be aware of the extra charges that will be piled on. You have to have insurance, even if your goods aren't worth all that much. It's FAR too expensive and they won't let you get away with not having it. Second, they will force you to use their lock, even though they make it sound as if you can bring your own. Don't believe it!!!! I just vacated another storage unit from another company where I had this same lock for 5 years. Yet, it wasn't good enough for them. Just another way to hit you up for $20. Typical American customer service. The price being quoted is never the price you will end up paying. The workers are decent people, who are trying to cope with a management that forces theses policies onto the customers. I feel sorry for them.

The only thing that I didnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t like was that there seemed to be someone that was just hanging around the storage entrance, behind the gate. She was using the restroom to charge her phones and became upset when I went to use the public restroom. I didnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t know her phones were in the restroom, she started knocking on the door loudly and wiggling the door knob aggressively. When I was walking out she looked at me like she wanted to get me. Makes me feel uncomfortable to have been there if Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢m suppose to be leaving my belongings there while someone that is just carrying a trash bag and using a public restroom to charge their broken phones is hanging out. Seemed like maybe she didnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t have a unit there, maybe she just snuck in behind a car. I had seen that happen at my previous storage unit, the homeless people.

Great storage clean and the price is great

I registered online and completed the transaction in person. Everything went smoothly, no issues! The facility is clean and orderly. Staff was very helpful!!

Fast check in love the customer service and location.

Doesn't have convenient hours for the working class people or people that's ill that has to get there the best way they can to have access to their property. The traffic in Houston is terrible and by the time you make it there you're still closed. `
