Public Storage - Houston - 9710 Plainfield Road

It was extremely hot but you can't beat the prices

The only negative about this location is the access to the facility stops at 6pm weekdays. 5pm weekends. That makes it difficult for 9-5ers like myself. But the facilities are clean. Customer service is top tier.

Most of the things are ok, I feel some bad smell near elevator

Only problem is that the drive ways are too narrow.

It's Kool, secure. The inside roof needs improvement and put in new light bulbs. Other than that I like them.

Great service from Paul couldn't be more happy with my space

Went today to view a unit to see if it would fit my needs and the people there were just so very helpful! Both Paul and I believe you spell the girls name Kara. They showed me a couple different units, gave me some useful suggestions on what I would need and how to safely store some of my breakables. I am not yet ready for storage, but they are on the top of my list. Very pleasant experience!

Being the cheapest option available at the time certainly had an influence on my choice to use Public Storage. That was the only factor though. The air is stale, and interior worn. Some small holes in the walls inside, large enough for mice or small rats. This is shown to be a possibility, since there were traps and rat poison already out for them. Not being "Climate Controlled" is one thing, but general containment is quite another. I would feel much better about this facility if the walls, corners, and doors were flush, sealed, and not allowing for the spread of rodents or other creatures. I have not had any items ruined by rats, but the necessity for rat poison insinuates the presence of rats.

I have not had any bad experiences with Public Storage. The staff is always on point and professional at all times.
