I found Macho through an online search. I was in love with them from the moment we met. It was an extremely easy process. We were given a tour of the facility which we were offered and the process was made indeed a process I would recommend to a friend. I loved the fact that they are also family owned!

Management was great from initial contact, location & other instructions over the phone were flawless. Assisted tremendously with an oversize truck and plenty of parking space for turn around and to temporarily park a loaded car carrier. Poor weather delayed my arrival and the support with this was fantastic. Dumpsters on site, close to the airport, secure/secure/secure. Husband/wife management duo are really great people persons and very courteous and professional. Pest control measures are in abundance (unlike the misadventures of the U-Haul on Harry Hines). Well lit, next door to a convenience store with restrooms was a blessing, too. A tip of the hat to ya'll!

I reserved my unit online, a very easy process. I received a call the same day from Chastity letting me know they would be there. It took a few days, a few calls; but I did get in. Chastity did my paperwork, it didn't take too long. She left it up to me to look at my unit then, I chose to wait. As clean as the office and grounds were, I wasn't worried. The price for my unit was fantastic. Another great thing? They don't force insurance on you. That is your decision. That has been most of the issue looking for storage. My sister rented the same size unit about a mile away. With "forced" insurance, she pays almost twice what I do. Jokes on her. She should have gone to Macho storage like I did, save those dollars. These are great people, they offer great prices; check out their website and see for yourself.

We needed a place to store our vehicle while we were in Mexico for two months, and this storage facility was ideal. It's close to the airport, and had all the right stuff for us. The owners are so very friendly and helpful ... even gave us a ride back to our hotel for less than a taxi fare! And since we were getting back to Dallas quite late, they gave us a nighttime access code to get into the facility after they were officially closed. This was a no-fuss, no-muss, simply perfect place for us, and we'd definitely use it again if the need arose. Thanks!

This is probably the only place I have been to that sat there and processed my paperwork with a smile on their faces even though I arrived few short minutes before closing time. They were very helpful and so nice and understanding as to why I was running late. I would recommend this storage to anyone who would like great customer service.

Customer service was great! I've been to this facility twice including the day I moved in and the first time Debbie and her husband were very friendly and helpful. The day I moved in Bob was the same way. I have another storage somewhere else that I purchased before I knew of this place and wish I would have found this one first.

I have used this storage on several occasions. No matter where I live, or how far I have to drive to rent a storage, I will only use this facility. If I forget to pay, I will get a complimentary email to remind me I am late. Can always call if I have a problem and they have never failed to work with me. I just have to let them know what is going on. Great Customer Service! Even my kids would recommend this facility.

Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢m a firm believer that when issues are resolved, we as consumers should praise the company we help to make a profitable business. Through research I found out that Joel (last name omitted to protect his privacy) is VP/CEO of Macho Storage and he contacted me promptly and promised to resolve my issue by, giving me credit for the late fee and issue me a month of free rent for the truck. Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢m not sure but I believe that my rent will stay the same. I found him to be very professional and willing to work with me and my concerns (most VPﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s/CEOﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s donﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t get involved with the issues that affect the little people that do business with them they leave them to work with the lower management) he even allowed me to vent and voice my opinion (he listened to me and I listen to him) and Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢m very impressed at his level of self control and willingness to help. He stated that rent is raised yearly (I have only been a tenant since October) and that he would fix my account and of course I advised him that if Debbie and Skip treated me like this then they would treat someone else like this. He stated he never had problems with them before neither had he had a problem like mine before. Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢m a satisfied consumer because of the level of service I received from Joel. If I rate this company as a place I would rent from it would only be because of the price for the space and for the valued service I received from Joel. I feel that Joel is a moral and ethical man and it is those kinds of qualities that cause people to drive across town to do business with any company. Thanks Joel for your awesome customer relation skills. PS. I now live in Desoto.

I'm currently very pissed at the way I have been treated as a tenant. On this rental, I paid $100.00 deposit for the truck; use is free if it is returned by 5pm. I unfortunately didn't finish unloading my things until 6 pm although I was on the property parked and unloading at 5 pm. The managers kept my entire deposit (I do have a witness; the Youth Pastor who helped me move my things into storage). According to the agreement, they were only suppose to charge me a day rate of 29.95. I was also charged $15 late fee for Jan on or about the 9th. Per this TSSA lease agreement, I have until the 16th before late fees apply. The manager,wants me to come in to the office and sign a new agreement, after I refused, she threatens me by stating I don't have to sign a new agreement but don't be surprised if my rent is raised because corporate raises rent all the time and hung the phone up. I spoke to her husband (the supposed real manager) who then backs her up and says the way to handle the matter is to sign a new agreement saying that they don't have to honor this agreement because it a month to month agreement and corporate can raise the rent. How about before the day was over I received an email from them with a new TSSA agreement that changes the late fee due date from the 16th to the 6th and in the body of the email it reads, “Ms. Kirksey, Please sign the attached lease and return to Macho Self Storage office no later than Feb 2nd, 2014. If not returned signed by Feb. 2nd, 2014, We will increase your rent to $85 per month. The $75 a month reflects signed leases. Without an updated signed monthly lease your monthly rent will be $85 as of Feb. 3rd, 2014.” Honestly I thought that as a part of customer service, a company is suppose to honor the agreement that was made even if it is a typo. Every website I have found Macho self storage they advertise 10 x 10 unit as $75.00, How can they even justify the rate increase?

The front desk help is very friendly and helpful. My unit was slightly dampish on the floor, but it was probably just concrete condensation from being so cold. The door is not super easy to open, but other than that, it is fine. Good price.
