TCB Self Storage

I have only been with TCB self storage for a short amount of time now but I am impressed. The facility is very clean oh, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The times that the facility is open for me to access my storage unit are wonderful seeing as sometimes I am not able to be there until after 5 p.m. or 6 p.m. I would recommend the storage unit to anyone who needs storage facilities.

Customer service was great and I got all the tools I needed to male my move easy.

Since all storage in Kingsville is REALLY expensive, we chose this one because it was fairly new. Today we are packing a 26' U-haul (rented elsewhere) out of a 10x30 unit. It's disgustingly hot. And, eventhough our unit has wiring and I light in it, the electricity isn't connected AND we're paying for a lighted unit! In order to plug in a box fan, we had to plug it into a live outlet near the office. The guy came storming out DEMANDING that we PAY him $10 immediatly for using his electric or he was calling the cops!!

Good facility, a little more expensive than I am used to but is average for the area in which it is located

I'm in a small town now, and the rent is definitely cheaper here compared to the big city. The gate isn't working though, so I worry about people coming in with a pair of bolt cutters and stealing my stuff. There is someone who lives on the property though, so hopefully he would be aware if something like that happened.

When I reserved online I was given a price of $40 and when I arrived at the facility they refused that price and gave me a charge of $60, $20 higher. Very frustrated. to be charged 50% more than I thought the fee was going to be does not seem right to me at all.
