Public Storage - Plano - 5920 W Plano Pkwy

There was no one on site to assist and could not get any help or information not even by phone. On the other hand it is a very clean and seem to be well maintained.

The location is very convenient and the facility is clean and well-lit. The process to choose and rent a storage unit could not have been easier.

Ed, the manager at my unit is wonderful. However, the policy of not taking a deposit to reserve a unit and then selling the unit to the first person who walks in the door is terrible. I arrived at the Preston rd. Unit in Far N. Dallas the day I had a reservation to start the rent and my unit was sold to some one else during the time period that I had looked at it and that day. This is an awful practice. This is how I ended up with Ed. at the Plano Parkway location.

I worked with Lily and Becky at the W. Plano Parkway Public Storage in Plano, TX. Lily and Becky were very patient in showing me options and discussing my needs. Their friendly and professional manner was very impressive. I ended up getting two storage units and have moved my possessions into the two units. Everything worked very smoothly.

I really recommend it. Especially the one on Plano pkwy. Ed is great with customers and friendly. Thanks Ed for your assistance and help me.

Good service. However I was turned off about forced renters insurance. My stuff is not very valuable and I now have to pay more than the advertised price. When renting online, customers should be warned on your website of the extra charge.

Very clean and safe location. Very friendly front desk staff. I just moved to Far North Dallas from Tennessee, and they were so understanding of the hassles of moving, and wanted to make it as easy as possible for me to store my excess stuff while I search for an apartment. I reserved the unit online, and they followed up with me the next day to confirm that I was still interested in the unit. When I came in to get the unit, they let me tour the unit, buy a lock, and thoroughly explained the lease terms and insurance policy. For only $55 a month, including the insurance, you can't really argue with a 5X7.5 indoor climate controlled unit in this part of Dallas!
