Nice facility. Very clean and secure. Easy access to/from 395. Be aware that they require you to use their special lock($20) even if you have your own lock.

Jennifer and the other lady (sorry I don't remember her name) are super professional and kind! over a year now with them and nothing but excellent service, super safe clean everything is extremely good.

My experience with Public Storage has been a excellence journey. Especially during my time in my travels.Their staff shows the utmost integrity and professionalism that I have seen in this organization or in this business. They have been a great help especially commuting back and forth from Northern Virginia DC and the Maryland area. During this time I'm looking for permanent residency their staff have been more than just help they've been more like family to my own. I will recommend public storage in Alexandria to anybody I know who's in this area.

Easy process, facility is great , super nice staff

We had a large sofa that we needed to make sure would fit into the storage unit we had reserved, as we'd had issues with being able to get it inside others due to the width of the hallway and size of the door. When I was paying for the unit, I told Jennifer this, and she was SO helpful! She took me up to the unit to make sure it would work for us, and when we noticed it had a regular sized door, she managed to find an available one for us (at a very similar price) that had a roll up door--one that would be much easier to get the sofa into and guaranteed to work. She was super thorough walking through how everything at the facility worked, went with me to make sure my gate code worked, and was incredibly friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend this storage facility to others!!

The Public Storage facility is brand new, so it is very clean! It is also very secure--I appreciate having to put in my code at all the access points. My only complaint is that there are not enough handcarts to move your things--so you are stuck waiting on other people to finish loading and unloading.

The representative made the move-in easy. She was very helpful and communicative. This was super easy and on aligned to my timeline!

Nice place and price. Clean, easy to access despite hard time to find the access code at the beginning. Service was pretty bad, rude and not very helpful, but in the end, Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢d recommend the place since service is only needed to get 1st access and sign paperwork.

First time experience in seeking out need for anticipated short-term storage of furniture & belongings. Visited multiple public storage facilities including other Public Storage locations. By far, Bren Mar was superior in comparison to all of the others. Not only cosmetically eye appealing in terms of cleanliness, but also in customer service- Manager Jennifer- extremely helpful with honest recommendations & guidance towards sorting out "things to consider" to fit our needs. Not only on initial interaction, but subsequent ones too-Has been great experience overall one month in!

Sounds to me like you can change the price at any time. Which doesnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t make you feel very secure with a price.

I researched many storage locations and this was the best priced and it is awesome. The loading dock is locked and covered. I feel very safe in this location. Would definitely tell friends to use this location.

I highly recommend this place. I needed storage for a year and they had a great unit that was the right size and a great price, and I could lock in the price by pre-paying for the year I need. The building is brand new, so it’s very clean and in great condition. If I had any complaints, it would be these - the motion sensor lighting still needs tweaking. The lights in the unit and the hall kept going on and off while moving in. It was never completely dark, but some brighter, more consistent lighting would help! Second, there were a lot of folks there moving in and out when I arrived. I had hired movers for this, so I was paying a considerable hourly rate and couldn’t just wait for a spot in the loading dock to open up. So, we walked everything in from the parking area, which added a lot of time (and therefore hundreds of dollars at the hourly rate I was paying) to my move-in. There was space in the loading dock, but only if the existing vehicles moved into a more efficient positioning. Having “traffic management” in the loading dock may have helped here. Also, there’s only two elevators, and the other movers routinely held the doors open to fill the one they were using, so sometimes fifteen or twenty minutes would go by with neither elevator actually moving. For a new construction building, I am kind of surprised there was only one elevator bay and one loading dock. Having a second bay with two more elevators next to a second loading dock would have made things much more efficient. But, if I had just planned for the loading to take much longer, it would have been okay.

This is a BRAND NEW facility. I LOVE that the loading area is an enclosed garage area with MULTIPLE dollys right at the entrance to the elevators. Jennifer in the front office ROCKED!!! She was FAST, EFFICIENT, FRIENDLY and VERY WELCOMING. She explained the issue with my reservation, AFTER informing me of the solution. She got me a GREAT unit for the same price with nothing about a smile and great conversation. She turned a REALLY rough day into laughs and that is what GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE is ALL about. Going in and being informed there is a problem, after being told it has already been fixed. Apologizing for the slight inconvenience but assuring the customer it is really not an issue at all, just a few extra minutes to change the paperwork. Keeping the customer happy and laughing and unaware that there was ever even a problem. I left feeling like I was given an additional discount because of a minor mistake with the SpareFoot website. My bestfriend is moving to this location as well, and she lives 35 minutes away.

New facility. GPS directions may take you to a residential area, so take a look on Google maps first. Load and unload dock can get a bit crowded but it's inside so no worries about rain. Overall great.

Staff, Jennifer, is excellent. This is a state-of the art facility run by excellent, professional staff. Add in introductory pricing snd you have a deal you cannot beat.

Just wish the door were locked and the exit gate was repaired
