Checking in was easy and handled expeditiously by the manager. Clean, neat, facility.

My brother very recently passed. I was traveling overnight 7 hrs with some of his belongings and needed a storage unit asap. Found online there was a CubeSmart near my home. Very quick and easy setup online and unit was ready and waiting when I arrived. Email with pascodes and all that was needed for a 10pm entry. Thank you for helping me in such a trying time.

Good location close to Dulles airport. Very clean facility, secured with code for gate, doors, elevators; very please with everything during move in.

I can't give 5 stars, nothing is perfect but they are close. On arrival, there are only about 3 parking spaces to park for guest & overall my transaction was smooth. The only aggravating thing to me was & is that you have to enter your access code a million times around the building. Upon entry, exciting, & for access to the elevators.

Booked everything online and was able to get into my unit the very same day. The employee who called to check in on my reservation was super nice and informative. The building is incredibly clean, lots of lighting. My only suggestion would be to check the motion sensor response on some of the lights. I get half way down the hall before they turn on most of the time,

Company rep was very nice and polite. I rented a 5×5, but it was too small. He was able to findeca bigger unit for a few dollars more. The facility is very clean.

Great People and a great location!!

The 2.5 stars is for the ease of online booking. The facilities: the day I moved in the double sliding doors were broken as was one of the two elevators. My code was not functioning and the staff person could not figure out why. You have to purchase a specialty lock that is only available at Self Storage. Booking: there was a sale on many different units December 2020. However, the 5x10 did not have a sales price. So I opted for the larger 6x10 as it was listed as $66. A similar rate to the current one listed above. So I booked it but saw $88 on the e-contract. I called and was assured that it would be adjusted. Long story short, the folks who answered the phone are not onsite, and the phones were down at Ashburn. The lower rate hasn't been honored and I haven't pushed the issue because I dont have proof. Also, I somehow ended up purchasing two units--I'll take the fault. However, it took an entire month and much badgering to be refunded my deposit. Billing: my first bill came and it was $20 more than it should have been. I was told multiple times that it would be adjusted. Only to receive a late fee while waiting. Throughout my communications with the staff, Ive been promised communication with management. Never happened. When I finally got a message from the Assist Management by happenstance, she didnt apologize for the myriad of inconveniences nor did she acknowledge the issue. I'm wary about this contract considering most companies are at least kind and customer-centric at the outset. That has not been the case.

I had a very competent experience with CubeSmart Self Storage. The manager, Shuja, is very detail oriented and assures that your check-in is streamlined to your specific needs. The facility is super clean and has great lighting.

Nice, modern unit. Clean, friendly staff on site, very professional. The only downsides is that the unit ceiling or roof is open air with a wire mesh fencing material. So it is better in terms of climate control and humidity control, but less secure. I guess Spiderman with bolt cutters and a ladder could get into your unit if they really wanted too, but there seems to be enough cameras to prevent that kind of stuff. Other issue is that if you need to buy a lock from them, they use a proprietary $19 that you can't really use for anything else besides a storage unit from them. It is the only lock they offer. I had to buy theirs because after I loaded my unit, my personal lock was too thick and wouldn't fit the holes in the bolt. Oh well! I should have check to see if my lock fit before I loaded up my gear.

We got a big sized unit for a very reasonable price. The facility is very clean and customer service was great.

The brief experience so far (renting, moving furniture in) has been two thumbs up. Clean and bright, secure, and easy access to the unit. The security code needed every time to go up the elevator for a move in is somewhat irksome, but it is a small price to pay for the security it provides to the unit

I set an appointment online, showed up late, and was still seen in a very timely manner. Great customer service and very new clean facility. Easy to store and access.
