Extra Space Storage - 3373 - Chesapeake - Campostella Rd

I booked an inside unit online thinking it was climate control. I get to the property and Donna was very nice but not very helpful in the fact I should have been getting a unit that was comparable to what I had. She looked my account up and everything...it said I had two other climate controlled units. But it wasn't until actually going over to look at the unit, I asked oh these aren't climate controlled? And she informed me they weren't and they don't even have any available at that property. At this point, I had already started moving my stuff in. BUT, it probably would've been most helpful to suggest giving me a refund and me going to another property nearby. I did see other places that had them available. So now I'm just salty every time I pull up to this property and access my storage because it's like working outside. I have to sweat like a pig. My stuff is going to be somewhat ruined due to being in the heat. I asked Donna if there was anything I could do but I felt stuck being all my stuff was moved in and I was locked into this contract.

The unit I paid for online was not climate controlled. Itﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s not stated very clearly if at all. The fact that it says indoorﾃ｢竄ｬﾂｦI assumed it would be but itﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s not. So Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢m very disappointed that in this blistering heat some of my stuff will get destroyed. I can move to another property but itﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢d be more money than I have right now. Also, I donﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t like that I had to get out of the car to put my code in. Other than that everything was fine.

Got in... Asked about deals going on at locations and other locations around the area and the clerk was able to tell me all deals and rates going in at the time. My wife and I were offered bottles of water in a hot summer day and we were able to get the closest climate control unit available, which in my case was about 12 ft away from the gate... Awesome experience with good quality service... Two thumbs up!!
