It's a good place. Could be better if there are some basic facilities allowed like a printer or an electrical outlet for some printing or heating or light.

A PS business card was available and I had to ask for it after given a postit note. They gave me one to fill out myself instead of using them. They should be used every time so we have a record for ourselves of Public Storage information and our personal storage unit information.

The staff is on their A game here - super helpful and informative throughout the reservation and move-in process. There are carts available on site and the units are very secure! Pricing seems very fair for the area as well.

Had a great experience!! My move out was a little rushed because the next day was the 1st of the month. Lauryn was very flexible and allowed me to move my stuff into a friends unit, rather than get charged an extra month. A cautionary note: Public Storage does not pro-rate for the last month. You must move out before the 1st by 6pm business hours or be charged an extra month. Overall, a helpful group of people.

My experience here was great from start to finish! Lauren welcomed me with the best customer service and attitude. Prior to leaving a few days ago, she always made sure that my son and I had everything we needed and answeeed every single question. When leaving, she made everything easy and made sure that if I needed anything in the future she'd make sure I was taken care of. I'll be sure to come back for any storage needs in the future.

Great place!!!!! I went to get some info for a Storage unit and left with the perfect unit from the perfect employee!!!! this is my first Storage unit and I was a little scared at first but Lauryn made it easier for me!! I'd highly recommend this place!!! Not only is it clean but they are big on security!! Lauryn showed me some moving supplies and was able to get me a unit that was easy to get to!!! I would highly recommend this place to anybody!!!!!!!!! Very happy customer!!!!!!! :)

I came into this establishment on 6/14 unsure of exactly what I needed to move some furniture. Thankfully Lauren (I believe was her name) helped me out by suggesting everything i needed for my move in. She was incredibly helpful and i was also able to get a discount! I was certain we needed more storage space on moving day so I found a Public Storage close to us....just about an hour before the office closed. I was so pleased with Camara and her professionalism. She helped me without rushing and made me feel at ease. The units are clean, secure and very well planned. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for space.

Public Storage on Tyco Road, McLean, Virginia, is a very solidly run operation. The personnel are courteous and friendly; the spaces are well ventilated and secure. One problem we encountered was on a Sunday: the weekend is when a lot of people visit their storage spaces and this was no exception. However, there was only one person on duty and she was overwhelmed. There were enough carts to be used and we were told that if we wanted to use one of the carts kept at the front office we would have to leave our drivers license. The woman on duty had not even had time to have her lunch and wanted to leave to grab something to eat. This would have left us waiting for her to return in order to get our license back. When we first rented the space no one mentioned this restriction; we were told we might have to search for available carts but not that there would not be any carts available at all. It was an unpleasant and very inconvenient surprise. And for the weekend Public Storage should have had two people in the front office. We recommend going during normal business hours during the week if you can. There were more carts available then and sometimes there were three people in the office. They said that part of the problem is people stealing carts, which is really disgusting. I sympathize with Public Storage on that point, but they need a better solution than requiring people to leave a drivers license because the carts are either all being used or are scattered on various floors throughout the facility.

Over the last few years I have been struggling to deal with guardianship of a mentally incapacitated parent who hoards severely. With short notice I had to clean out 2 large houses for sale. I showed up at Public Storage in a prime location for my needs and found everything I needed from a range of storage unit sizes, a clean climate controlled environment, security, and a kind, friendly and helpful staff that recognized me as a customer on each of many desperate visits with a smile and cheerful encouragement in this rough process. I wish everyone I worked with in this process was as cheerful and professional!
