In 1985, it was purchased, renovated, and converted into one of Norfolks first multi-story self storage facilities, now offering 320+ individual storage rooms for the downtown area. AAAA Self Storage and Moving is located at 110 E 22nd Street, Norfolk, VA 23517, right behind the IHOP on 21st Street. Our all-indoor, multi-story building includes features you wont find at typical facilities. Because the building is fully locked at night, security is enhanced, no exposed fencing or easy after-hours access to units. Moving in is efficient with four loading docks, plenty of flatbed transfer carts, and a freight elevator to help you reach upper-floor units. For added protection, the entire building is covered by a fire suppression system. They advertised first month was free when it cost $42.00(fees and lock). My appointment was for 4 pm I tried for a 4:30 pm was told I needed to give time to fill out the paperwork. Although I spoke with a live person 3 times and received 3 emails. I arrived at 3:59 the door was locked with a sign stating the manager was touring the premises. At 4:15 he arrived stating he was unaware I had an appointment, and that I wasn't waiting that long (yes, he said that). He was very passive-aggressive. I departed to put the lock on my space. Noticing he put the wrong space number on the envelope of my paperwork when I attempted to go back to correct it again was locked with the sign on the door.

Good unit, great price! Easy to rent & grateful for free lock provided for military. Interior unit on second floor, have to use carts & elevator to move things back & forth. As long as youﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢re not in a hurry, works out well. Only thing I would like to see is slightly longer access hours, have to be done moving by 5:30 pm.
