10 Federal Storage - W Broad St

There’s nothing super wrong with the place. As far as storage facilities go, it’s about as expected.

I got there around 2am and the gate was wide open and stayed that way the whole time I was there. It took me about 10 minutes to find a cart but I couldn’t use it because someone was using it to hold their microwave while they cooked food. Three separate units had people I could see sleeping. Another two were sleeping in the halls. It was as clean as you’d expect from an unsecured squatter village would be. There’s trash everywhere and it’s pretty disgusting. I thought $74 for a 10x10 was too good to be true.

On my day of move in someone’s car was blocking my spot so I had to leave my rv trailer in another spot. Not happy about it. The customer service was an Ai which was useless. When I called to see where I can find the unit the Ai didn’t know how to answer it… then they send me a map that you can’t really understand it. I did see a spot 86 but not 086 so I still don’t know if that’s correct. Either way there was a car that was blocking the spot when I arrived, so I put my trailer in a different spot. Hopefully they will figure things out and clean the place so I can park where I am supposed to rather then another spot that potentially belongs to someone else. I did respond to the email but still have no response back that I am. In a different spot.

Storing my boat and went to go work on it and there is zero visibility at night— does not feel safe to be at after dark due to the low visibility.

While moving even with plans to the end will become overwhelming or frustrated. With 10 Federal Storage the system was hassle free. Thank you!

I like the ease of the place but not having staff in a central location for help is a little complicated. There were also several people living there.

The rep on the phone was great and very knowledgeable. It was a little confusing finding my unit with no staff on site, but I have pretty severe social anxiety and I’d rather search than talk most days. Over all the facility is well kept, but I was expecting things to be a bit more put together for the outside climate controlled units. There were whole colonies of spiders in the dark corridor which only runs on a timed light. Being in there alone was pretty scary when the timer turned off and I had to run down a dark cob web filled hall to cut it back on. Motion sensor lights would be much safer and less terrifying. I also wish there were outlets in the units for a lamp, or overhead lighting. Only light comes from the hall and it’s not really sufficient when trying to organize.

I will never recommend this place. Customer service very poor

Never was told how to access my storage unit had to figure it out. Inside the building was trash. Customer service needs a lot of work
