While the staff appeared pleasant, my experience on move-in day was marred by significant trust issues. I visited on a Friday and moved in the next day, being assured multiple times that the office would close at 5 PM on Saturday. However, when I tried to return a cart at 4:55 PM, no one was present. Despite calling and checking the parking lot, turns out staff had left 20 minutes earlier without informing me or returning my driver's license, which they hold as collateral for using their carts. This lack of communication was particularly frustrating as it left me unable to retrieve my license before they closed for the weekend, impacting my plans for Father's Day and putting me at risk driving around in a rented vehicle. Combined with the dock ramp not working and inevitable rodent issues in a warehouse district, this experience has made me reconsider my decision to stay here long-term.

This storage facility was extremely easy to book and reserve online. The app was easy to download and access my important info as well. My padlock and everything I needed to secure my unit after filling it was conveniently placed inside for me prior to my arrival. I had a little bit of difficulty finding the correct building that I was assigned to, however, after making a quick call to the office she kindly informed me of how to properly locate it. There is a lack of carts as they are shared among all the buildings so I had to go to another building to find one. Outside of that I had no major complaints and I would surely recommend this facility to any of my friends or family.

I had needed a storage unit for my daughter attending college in Richmaond Va. just 7 miles away. The storage room was clean and the customer service rep that was there was very pleasant and the price was very good. All the other storage units in the area was $79 whereas Cube Smart was $46 $12 insurance= $58. Great!!!

The manager made the experience painless. He took time to answer all of my questions. Facility is clean and comfortable. Loading and unloading can be a little work as many of the units are far from the dock. But if you have the manpower this facility is well worth the energy and effort.

We needed a short term place to store furniture between apartment leases. This was close and clean. The guys in the office were efficient and friendly. We carried our own rental insurance so didnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t have to add that and brought our own lock. The ramps made unloading easy. We are happy with the facility.

I called to reserve a unit for my college aged son. They told me he could fill all paperwork out on his move in day. I received 2 confirming emails saying I had reserved the unit. When he showed up to the facility, they said his reservation was cancelled and they had called and emailed multiple times. I never received a phone call and only received the two emails confirming the reservation. They worked hard to get him in a unit but it is more expensive and they only discounted the first month to the rate we agreed upon.

I reserved a small space for my son and received 2 emails confirming my move in day. When he arrived at the facility to complete the paperwork, he was told the reservation was cancelled and that they had sent an email each day and made several phone calls, neither of which happened. For some reason they had the local facility as my phone number which was not even close to my number and I only ever received 2 confirming emails. Facility is nice and they tried to work with him to give him a larger space with only one month of the 6 months discounted but that is very frustrating. Bottom line is you need to call to confirm you really have a reservation after you make a reservation.

Excellent, central location in Richmond. I found this storage site through SpareFoot. The facility itself was immaculate, the service was extremely friendly, and the price was perfect! I highly recommend this facility!
