Darlene, the manager, was very friendly & helpful. She showed us several units, helped us sign up and loan us a lock as our lock that we brought with us didnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t work.

Can't recommend this location enough. Customer service is top notch. The place is clean and easy to get around. Great prices.

Ellen Masterson at the Shell Road office in Virginia Beach, is AMAZING! She was so helpful with getting us set up.....and because we arrived at 5:45pm, she ended up sticking around after-hours, just to make sure we were taken care of! Thank you, Uncle Bob's!

The service was thorough and exceptional. The unit was clean and convenient. Easy access. Would recommend to anyone. Moved from another facility and couldn't be happier!

They were suppose to bill my company for the payment instead I had to pay and get reimbursed my payment inconvenienced couldn't tip the movers what I normally tip due to confusion

Uncle Bobs was really really friendly, efficient and helpful. They give you free usage of their moving truck for a whole day with renting a unit. they are not climate controlled but they are secure and clean. the staff is very knowledgable and the environment was full of character. they have a resident cardinal who likes to look at himself in your car mirror.

This is my second time using Uncle Bob's Self-Storage. The Manager is a wonderful lady! Her trainee was vey nice as well. They are extremely helpful in guiding you through the paperwork and help picking a unit and smile alot! I have recommended them every time i have been asked about one! :)

Easiest time renting a storage unit ever! Darlene was super sweet and helpful. Took no time at all to rent unit and begin moving in. Never realized they were there until yesterday. Only (not big) issue was that the hallway to my unit smelled a little funky...not the worse but a little unpleasant.

Unit was ready when request the staff was professional and helpful. They even offer the use of their truck--for free.

Made a reservation for storage unit through Sparefoot for $47/month. When I went in to sign contract, unit was priced at $51/month. Representative on site was not able to make change to computer generated contract, or to the amount that was billed against my credit card. She had to make pen changes to contract, and issue me a credit against following month's rent in order to reflect pricing from reservation rate. Additionally, when I needed to gain access to the unit (night before overseas deployment) I was unable to enter facility due to the fact that automated gate was broken. I called emergency number three times over the course of about two hours, and was told that area manager would contact me in order to get me access to facility. Area manager did not make contact with me prior to my leaving US.

This is a nice facility in a nice area. Move-in went smoothly. Staff (Pam) was very courteous and helpful.
