The customer service and simplicity of applying for the unit was great. My complaint is the that the light inside of the storage unit, does not work; and it was nearly impossible to get to the unit with my 20 ft truck. If you are going to have 10x10 storage units in this part of the property, it needs to be more accessible for trucks of this size.

Great customer service and clean spacious unit.

The people who work here are great, they follow the rules sent down by their upper management. Don't miss payments and you'll be fine. They raise the rent $20 every 6 months or so. I started paying $115 a month five years ago, and now it's $250, so there's no benefit to longevity here. The worst of it is they mandate insurance in the event of loss, so someone gets $180 a year for insurance. I put a claim in when I opened the door to find the place covered in mice and rat droppings, nests in my totes of clothing and dead rats in my boxes, the maximum I could be reimbursed was $250 after a $100 deductible. Less than one year's worth of what I've been paying for five years. I threw out 15 totes of stuff that was chewed and destroyed. So it's left me disappointed in the policies of the company.

The man that helped me was very friendly and patiently showed me 4 units. The doors are difficult to access and the unit door is wooden and the inside unit buildings in the back are always so cold. BUt overall an above average experience.

She helped us and explained everything thoroughly. She has such an awesome smile and willingness to help. Plus the place is very secure which was important to my wife. Thank you Karissa for being the bomb diggity!!!

Was easy to get set up, front desk person Kristina was very helpful and wonderful customer service. I do wish that I could access carts after office hours though as it is challenging with my work schedule to get to my storage unit during office hours.

I originally reserved my storage unit at the Lacey, WA location. I called in 2-3 times to change the date that I would come in to sign papers and confirm everything with them on the phone. The day before I get ready move my stuff, I go over there and Sue tells me that she doesn't have me down for a unit only an uncovered parking area. Yet, I explained to them on the phone that I didn't need a parking spot. This put me in a tight spot and my friend had to call in a reservation for me in Tacoma, WA (30 mi) away. I called the manager there and he tells me that the unit that the 800 number reserved isn't empty yet. So he has to call another location for me to reserve a 10x15 unit at the Parkland, WA location. Luckily, it was available for the $1 special ($24 admin fee). That manager was super nice and helpful. She totally made up for the other two managers.

Great customer service, Kristina is awesome! She showed us the two units we had reserved even in the rain. When we realized one of the spaces was not big enough, she easily showed us a larger unit. Perfect for our needs. We are relocating and the date and time of our arrival had to change. They were very helpful and worked with us through the whole process.

Brittany met us at the front office. I am disabled and she was kind enough to offer me a chair as standing is difficult. She explained all the available items I would need for my storage like the plastic for the floor and a cover for my mattress and something to keep the air quality from dampness. She also took the time to pull out the golf cart to haul me around. Now that is terrific service. After looking over the storage we drove back for the paperwork and Bingo she knows her stuff. What i thought was actually surprising was her constant smile and how well she explained everything to me. She never rushed us and as doing the paperwork she answered all my questions even the silly ones I asked. My friend Vera who is going to help deliver my things was quite taken by Brittany and how knowledgeable she was of the company. She said. she would also give her 5 stars. I must stay giving stars is nice but when you find someone who actually cares about her theywork for and actually shows that to the customer she deserves much more than stars. I am glad I choise Public Storage in Black Lake for my storage facility and I am happy to have Brittany in charge of the company. I am posting this on Twitter and facebook as well as my friend Vera who is doing the same just to let people know there are great people and businesses out there who actually care for your needs. Visited the premises on Black Lake Blvd looking to rent a storage unit. Reasonable rent but no promotional offers as opposed to the ads on their website. Caitlyn was professional and provided key information. Good customer service. Update: Looked for a storage unit and placed on wait list, I was pleasantly surprised to hear back. Brittany demonstrated excellent customer orientation, was informative, patient & very courteous despite busy Office. She answered all our questions, assured to help us find an alternate location if unit unavailable, suggested storage solutions and enabled quality experience for us at Public Storage. Fortunately, we found a good unit for us. Thank you Brittany!

Super nice and attentive staff! Everything was perfect, with the only exception being just a little aggressive with the up selling. Still though great experience and I would recommend them to friends and family.

Public Storage in Oly has taken some of the stress out of my move. I'm on a tight turnover schedule so having a clean, safe place to 'pre-move' most of my belongings into really helps.

Good reservation process, great deal on the first month's rent, and the storage space was more than adequate for my needs.

I was impressed by the ease of the process. I looked up info online, then called a call center who scheduled the appointment, the manager called me back within a few minutes to confirm everything. The on site manager was very helpful, and I was so greatful; as I was exhausted by the move.

I was in a bind trying to move. I had contacted Uhaul who assured me they had what I needed. When I got there they did not. After calling around desperately I got ahold of Public Storage. They're customer service rep was awsome helping out as was the manager of the location I went to. Thanks guys

From the time we walked into the office to request information regarding the size and prices of the different storage units, we were informed about the different sizes available and cost per month. We explained our situation, and she gave us the move out date to be able to take advantage of "The First Month is Free" Jaunita was very professional during the whole process. We would highly recommend Public Storage to anyone looking for a good place to store belongings.
