Public Storage - Seattle - 1200 S Dearborn St

Showed up opened my unit keys and lock were inside and waiting for me! Highly recommended for ease of use and convenience.

The person in the front desk was extremely busy traying to accommodate phone, customers and people coming. I think you need more people in there, she is very efficient but so busy.

There are some questionable people in the area. But the extra steps this property took for security I feel is on point. Great rate for my unit.

It was really easy to reserve and move-in. Very helpful and easy to follow directions. Staff on the phone and at the facility were helpful and knowledgeable. The unit itself seems a little smaller than advertised.

I was able to reserve a same-day spot. I was able to do all the paperwork online in advance. There was no waiting in line when I got there. The whole experience was easier than Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢ve ever had.

This is my second time getting a storage unit at this location. The facility is very nice and the climate control is perfect! The staff have always been very helpful and friendly, even during the current health crisis. Access for large trucks is good and there are plenty of carts at this location. I would definitely recommend Public Storage to my friends and family!

Great clean site close to downtown. Staff was very helpful and the price was right. Parking area can get busy so best to plan ahead with big loads.

I went in the facility needing space because I am down sizing from a three bedroom into a two bedroom space.I had no clue how large or small of a storage space I would need. Allan Ajeto helped me determine the space by asking a few questions. Totally impressed and happy with the space... I have friends who are relocating here for work and already told them to head to this location. Great customer service and knowledge of product!!! ??????

So far, so good. The staff is nice. The facility is new, clean, safe. Hope future access continues to be easy and the facility, staff, security and safety remain as good as they have been upon move in.

Facility is new and clean! Staff are all friendly and helpful. Thanks to Rio and all others I didn't get the chance to get their names! Only drawback is the height limitation for trucks. The moving company I hired brought their small moving truck and couldn't make the height clearance by an inch. I would give 5 stars to staff!

Reserving a unit online was easy and the email showed me what I would owe for my unit. I got a call right afterward to schedule a check-in time. When I arrived to check in, Andrew was there to help me and he's a pro at this - he explained everything wonderfully. However, after the walk through with Andrew, I was really disappointed to discover hidden costs. First, Public Storage requires a particular kind of lock, which I didn't have, and which cost $20! There was no mention of this when I was signing up. Additionally, Public Storage requires insurance coverage of the goods you have stored, which they'll happily sell you. It's a shame, because it could have been a wonderful experience if the price on the website actually showed my final costs. Tacking on additional charges when I arrived on-site made Public Storage seem so sleazy. Maybe these wouldn't be surprises if you're familiar with the self-storage industry, but the business model of tacking on unnecessary fees is going out of style, and Public Storage needs to recognize that.

Very clean and I have never had trouble finding parking or having access to a cart for moving things into the unit. I wish the hours were better. Trying to get down there before 7pm after a full day of work is stressful. If the hours were until 9, that would even be a little bit more helpful.

Amazing customer service!!

Easy access, great customer service.

People were friendly and helpful and the facilities seemed great and taken care of. However how customer service is handled over the phone can be real shady and concerning. Kept going around and around saying they were sorry prices went up between a single day, but they could guarantee prices would be locked for 6months, only to then be told that was a lie and prices can raise up to 30% in a 6 month period, but after THAT, it won't increase again for a year. However they refused to put anything in writing.

Unit is fine, staff was great, and price was the best in the area.
